Beginner's Guide to Video Editing (Reels & Shorts)

This guide will help you start your journey in video editing step by step. Stay consistent and
practice daily!

■ Tools to Start With:


1 CapCut (Easy & popular).
2 VN Editor (Simple & clean).
3 InShot (Good for beginners, also which I use the most).

■ Basic Skills to Learn:


1 Cutting and trimming clips.
2 Adding music.
3 Using transitions.
4 Adding text and effects.

■ Practice Method:
1 Watch reels/short videos.
2 Try to recreate them.
3 Experiment with your own ideas.

■ Daily Schedule (30 Minutes):


1 10 mins – Watch and analyze a reel carefully.
2 15 mins – Practice editing 10 min and 5 mins – Review and
improve.

■ Tip:
Consistency is key. Even 30 minutes daily will make you a pro over time.
