Job Purpose
The purpose of this role at Acadamiac is to design, develop, and implement AI/ML-based solutions that
enhance academic systems, automate operations, and support data-driven decision-making. The AI
Engineer will contribute to building scalable, secure, and innovative AI-driven tools for institutional
growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for academic and enterprise-level applications.
• Build and maintain reusable AI frameworks, pipelines, and libraries.
• Work closely with faculty, technical staff, and management to translate institutional needs into AI-
based solutions.
• Optimize algorithms for performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Implement and support cloud-based AI solutions (Azure, AWS, or others).
• Apply best practices in MLOps, CI/CD, versioning, and model monitoring.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, NLP, RAG pipelines, and Generative AI technologies.
• Conduct research on new AI trends to enhance the institute’s digital capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to data standards, privacy rules, and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and LLM-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of data preprocessing, model evaluation, and optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) for AI model deployment.
• Experience in building RAG pipelines, Generative AI tools, and chatbots.
• Understanding of MLOps practices, including CI/CD and model monitoring.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in AI/ML are preferred.
• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in AI/ML development (based on role level).
• Freshers with strong practical skills and certified training may also be considered.
