In the beginning of the year, I gave the students in my class a grammar pre-
test. The purpose of this test was to see what knowledge they were coming into my
class having. After teaching them the parts of speech, I gave them the same exact
test to see how much they have improved. This graph shows that improvement.
The blue bar shows their initial score as a percentage. The red bar shows their
score as a percentage on the final grammar test. It is easy to see, based on this
graph, that every student showed improvement from the first test to the second.
