TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMPLIANCE BY PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS
i. Nigerian-Trained Graduates are expected to bring to camp; Original Degree/HND Certificates or Statement of
Results and Personal Identity Card from Institution of graduation.
ii. Foreign-Trained Graduates should present for verification: original copies of ALL uploaded academic credentials and
travel documents, including International Passport(s) with Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) stamps showing exit
and entry. They are to ensure that all academic documents in languages other than English are translated into
English; both the original and translated documents must be presented at the Orientation Camp for verification.
iii. Medical/Veterinary Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Physiotherapists, Nurses and
Environmental/Public Health graduates should present their valid professional licenses and Certificates of full
registration from the appropriate regulatory/professional bodies for verification.
iv. With effect from the 2018 Batch C Service Year, all prospective Corps Members from Monotechnics/Polytechnics
should present their National Diploma (ND) Certificates alongside other required documents as pre-condition for
registration in camp.
v. Prospective Corps Members (PCM) are to prepare mentally and physically for the rigours of camp training and
activities.
vi. Acts of indiscipline or improper behaviour contrary to ethical standards will not be tolerated.
vii. You are advised to be vigilant and avoid falling victims of fraudsters, for purposes of deployment, relocation and
posting.
iii. You are advised not to proceed to camp if the date of graduation on your call-up letter does not correspond with the
date on your Certificate or Statement of result.
ix. You are STRONGLY ADVISED NOT TO TRAVEL AT NIGHT to camp and during the service year.
x. Ensure to always board vehicles at designated motor parks and not by the roadside, and remain security conscious
throughout your journey.

xii. Prospective corps members are required to disclose any genuine health conditions they may have. This information
will be treated with confidentiality and will not be used against them, but rather to ensure their proper management
during the service year.
iii. Prospective corps members are encouraged to receive immunizations against prevalent infectious diseases as a
preventive measure. They could also take advantage of voluntary immunizations available at the Orientation Camps
for those interested.
iv. Prospective corps members whose passport photographs on the NYSC portal are deemed inappropriate or indecent
will not be registered at the camp. Affected individuals must ensure their photographs are recaptured before the
commencement of the Orientation Course.
SPECIAL NOTICE TO ALL MARRIED PREGNANT AND NURSING PROSPECTIVE FEMALE CORPS MEMBERS
All married, pregnant and nursing female prospective corps members not deployed to their husbands place of
domicile may report to NYSC Orientation Camp located within their husbands State of residence for the Orientation
Course. They are to however, present for registration in addition to other relevant documents, the following:
1. Evidence of Marriage (e.g. Marriage Certificate).
2. A valid means of identification of the husband.
3. Evidence of the husband’s place of domicile.
NYSC respects and strongly upholds the Institution of Marriage and expects all concerned to take note of this policy.
By signing this document, I acknowledge and agree that:
a. I shall abide by all the rules and regulations governing the NYSC Scheme.
b. Upon successful registration at the Orientation Camp, I will not request changes/corrections for the following:
i. Inappropriate or indecent passport photograph
ii. Incorrect date of birth
iii. Incorrect date of graduation
iv. Incorrect institution name, course of study, or qualification
c. I accept full responsibility for any discrepancies related to the areas mentioned in paragraph (b) above and agree
that such issues/request will not be entertained after registration at the Orientation Camp.
d. I agree to wear the officially approved and issued NYSC Uniform/Kit (Khaki Jacket and Trousers, Crested Vest,
White PT Shirt, White Shorts, Fez Cap, Belt, White and Green Stockings, Jungle Boots and White Canvass Shoes)
for the prescribed activities.
e. I agree Not to embark on any night journey throughout my service year.
f. I agree to strictly adhere to the NYSC Bye-Laws And Code of Conduct.
g. I agree that disciplinary action should be taken against Me If I attempt To participate In the NYSC more than once,
except in cases of approved Remobilization.
h. I agree to report to the Orientation Camp for documentation within the period specified on the call-up letter.
i. I confirm that all information provided by me to the NYSC Is true And correct.
j. I agree that if it Is discovered that I provided false Or misleading information to the NYSC appropriate disciplinary
action should be taken against me.
