Introduction
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a major development project between
Pakistan and China. It is part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). CPEC aims to improve
trade, infrastructure, and economic cooperation. It includes roads, railways, energy
projects, and Gwadar Port.

What is OBOR and BRI?


BRI (Belt and Road Initiative), also known as OBOR (One Belt One Road), is a global project
started by China. It connects Asia, Europe, and Africa through roads, railways, and sea
routes to increase trade and economic growth.

What is CPEC?
CPEC is a part of BRI between Pakistan and China. It connects China's Xinjiang region to
Pakistan’s Gwadar Port. It includes energy projects, highways, railways, and industrial
zones.

Why CPEC (Structure and Projects)


1. Infrastructure Projects: Roads, motorways, and railways improve transport.

2. Energy Projects: Power plants solve electricity shortages.
