II. OUTCOMES
A. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the life, ideals, and significant works of Dr. José
Rizal, particularly their impact on Philippine nationalism and identity.
B. Analyze the historical and social context that shaped Rizal’s thoughts, writings, and reformist
advocacy.
C. Appreciate Rizal’s enduring legacy as a national hero whose principles of patriotism, education,
and moral integrity remain relevant in contemporary society.
D. Enhance critical and reflective thinking skills by relating Rizal’s experiences and values to present-
day issues faced by Filipinos.
E. Develop confidence and communication skills through effective presentation, teamwork, and
engagement with peers during discussions.

IV. GUIDELINES
A. Purpose of the Activity
This reporting activity aims to deepen students’ understanding of Dr. José Rizal’s life, works, and ideals
by encouraging independent research, collaborative learning, and effective communication. Students are
expected to present their assigned topics creatively and analytically, highlighting Rizal’s contributions
to Philippine nationalism and their relevance today.
B. Group Formation and Assignment
Students will be divided into groups with equal members.
Each group will be assigned a specific topic or chapter related to Rizal’s life, writings, or
historical context.
Roles such as leader, researcher, presenter, and designer should be assigned within the group to
ensure active participation.

E. Format: Multimedia presentation (PowerPoint, Canva, Prezi, or similar).
F. Content:
Background and context of the assigned topic
Key ideas or themes from Rizal’s works
Relevance to Philippine history and present-day society
Reflections or critical insights from the group
G. Q&A: Each group must be ready to answer questions from classmates and the instructor after the
presentation.
H. Visual and Technical Requirements
Use clear, readable fonts and visually appealing layouts.
Include relevant images, quotations, or excerpts from Rizal’s works.
Avoid excessive text; highlight only key points.
Test equipment and files before the presentation to prevent technical delays.
I. Delivery and Conduct
All group members must participate in the delivery.
Speak clearly, confidently, and maintain eye contact with the audience.
Avoid reading directly from slides or scripts.
Show respect and attentiveness during other groups’ presentations.
J. Submission Requirements
Submit a copy of your presentation slides and rubric to the instructor before your scheduled
presentation.
Late submissions will result in a deduction of points.
