A sports article reports what happened in a game or competition. It usually includes a headline, a short
lead paragraph with the basic information, details about the game, and a conclusion.
Example 1: Basketball

The Grade 10 Tigers secured the championship title after defeating the Grade 9 Warriors with a score
of 78–65 during the Intramurals basketball finals on Friday at the school gymnasium.
The Tigers showed strong teamwork and defense throughout the game. In the first half, the Warriors
