Event: High Stakes '25 – The Ultimate Negotiation Challenge

Date: 2nd April 2025

High Stakes '25 was MSI's first-ever event focused solely on core finance, created in
partnership with the Alumni Relation Cell. It was designed to fill a significant void in MSI's
strategy and consultancy competition offering by immersing participants in demanding
negotiating simulations with a constant focus on professionalism and analytical accuracy.
As corporate executives, student teams had to deal with a number of carefully thought-out
merger and acquisition scenarios. They created strategic counter offers, assessed possible
synergies, and constructed acquisition proposals under strict time limitations meant to
replicate the demands of actual deal timeframes by utilising thorough market analysis and
reliable financial models. High Stakes required in-depth quantitative examination and live
negotiation methods typical of real corporate finance practice, while regular MSI contests
frequently emphasise qualitative frameworks and case-based strategy.
A panel of experts, including the founder of our sponsoring edu tech venture and two
doctorate holders from IIT Delhi, were given the task of evaluating the project. Their
combined expertise from academia and business contributed significant credibility. The
participants' financial reasoning was sophisticated, their value propositions were clear, and
their negotiation behaviour was professional, according to their measured feedback.
Event: Campus2Corporate - Internship Presentation Competition
Date: 17 August 2025

The Department of BBA (Morning) in collaboration with Amplaire Society successfully

organized the Campus2Corporate - Internship Presentation Competition, which saw
enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines including BBA, [Link]
(H), BBA LLB, MBA and BCA. During the competition, individuals had a great chance to
show what they had learnt, how they had grown as professionals, and what they had done
during their internships. During Q&A sessions, judges assessed presentations according to
criteria such as professionalism, contribution, understanding of the organisational context,
quality of deliverables, approaches to problem-solving, and clarity. The rubric guaranteed a
thorough evaluation of the participants' abilities. Students emphasised how their internships
prepared them for corporate settings, focussing on time management, flexibility, and
communication. In order to overcome obstacles at work and produce significant outcomes,
they also demonstrated problem-solving techniques. The presentations were excellent, with
well-structured slides, captivating delivery, and concise explanations of difficult concepts.
The presenters' professionalism and expertise were demonstrated during the Q&A sessions as
they skilfully responded to enquiries while acknowledging the importance of ethics and
teamwork. All things considered, the event effectively linked academic learning with
business expectations, enhancing students' career readiness and preparing them for
professional settings.
Event – Role play Activity- performance management

Date – 30 September

The activity aimed to give students practical understanding of Performance Management

concepts through simulations, linking academic knowledge to real-world situations while
enhancing skills in teamwork, communication, leadership, and decision-making. In order to
participate in a Performance Management study module, students divided into four groups
and created and performed role-plays that focused on workplace situations pertaining to
employee performance, such as performance reviews and dealing with subpar work. All
roles, including manager and employee, were clearly defined. The emphasis of each eight to
ten-minute performance was on imagination and realism. Relevance of scenarios and
compliance with performance management principles were the main evaluation criteria.
Faculty recognised the participants' overall enthusiasm, professionalism, and effective
communication. Students gained practical experience in performance management through a
role play activity that improved their goal-setting, feedback, leadership, analytical, and
interpersonal skills. The event highlighted the importance of communication and motivation
in staff development, and it effectively bridged theory and practice. Participants reported
enhanced confidence, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork, leading to positive feedback
from both faculty and students.
Event - Information System Management Report

Date- 8th September

In the digital age, chatbots are vital for enhancing customer engagement, reducing
operational costs, and improving response times. This event evaluates an AI-powered virtual
assistant's functionality, user experience, benefits, and drawbacks, aiming to understand its
effectiveness in business operations and customer satisfaction, as well as its role in managing
information systems. The study assessed a chatbot's performance via interactions on a mobile
app and website. It evaluated the accuracy of responses, response time, user interface, ease of
use, and efficiency in problem resolution through multiple queries regarding food orders,
delivery, and payment issues. Findings were systematically recorded over three sessions for
reliability. Automated order tracking offers real-time updates on order statuses and allows for
prompt complaint registration with customer support. It includes brief information on refund
processes, an interactive interface for better usability, and CRM integration for seamless data
access. The outcomes highlight that a chatbot can streamline customer interactions, reducing
the need for human staff while enhancing accuracy through real-time database links.
However, its ability to manage complex or emotionally sensitive situations is still limited,
although machine learning can improve its adaptability and problem-solving skills. The
chatbot exemplifies effective use of information system management through artificial
intelligence, improving user experience and operational efficiency. A hybrid approach of AI
and human support is essential for customer satisfaction in complex situations. It enhances
digital service strategy by promoting scalability, speed, and consistency. Suggestions for
improvement include enhancing natural language comprehension, providing multilingual
support, employing emotional recognition, and regularly updating the chatbot's knowledge
base.
