A. BACKGROUND
OF THE RESEARCH
In the digital era, English language learning has changed due to
technology. Vocabulary and reading skills remain important,
especially for junior high school students, but many struggle. These
challenges are often caused by inappropriate traditional teaching
methods. Many students struggle to remember new vocabulary due
to a less contextual approach and limited reading materials. PISA
2022 data shows that Indonesian students' reading skills are low.
Passive vocabulary and reading instruction are ineffective, so
platforms like Wordwall offer interactive solutions to improve
student comprehension and participation. This study aims to
provide evidence on the effectiveness of digital tools in language
teaching.

How the effectiveness wordwall in building students'
motivation to improve their reading skills at eighth class
in SMP Negeri 2 pinrang?

C. OBJECTIVES OF RESEARCH
To know the effectiveness wordwall in building students'
motivation to improve their reading skills at eighth class in

method at eighth class in SMP Negeri 2 pinrang.
