Step-by-Step Guide to Become a Doctor :

Step 1: Choose the Right Stream after 10th: Opt for Science stream (Physics,
Chemistry, Biology - PCB) in 11th and 12th.
Step 2: Pass Class 12th: Pass the 12th board exam with a minimum of 50%
marks (40% for reserved categories) in PCB subjects.
Step 3: Prepare for NEET-UG Exam: It is mandatory to appear for the NEET
(National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) to gain admission into any government
or private medical college in India.
Step 4: Admission to Medical College: Secure an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine
and Bachelor of Surgery) seat through the counseling process based on your
NEET score.
Step 5: Complete MBBS and Internship: Complete the 5.5-year MBBS course,
which includes 4.5 years of study and a 1-year mandatory rotatory internship.
Step 6: Registration: Register with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or
State Medical Council to practice legally
