TASK 1

The graph illustrates information about the percentage of the population in four Asian countries
living in cities from 1970 to 2020, with forecasts for the 2030 and 2040 populations.

The population in Malaysia was 30 percent in 1970, and its population has been steadily
increasing throughout the years. A huge percentage of the population was recorded in Malaysia
in 2020, which was 75%. The predictions of the population for 2030 and 2040 would be 80%
and 90%. The population of the Philippines was 32% in 1970, and it increased in 1980 which
was almost 50%. The population was 45% in 2020, and it was predicted that it would increase in
2030 and 2040.

The population of Thailand was 18% in 1970; it dramatically increased through the years, and it
was 28% in 2020. And it is predicted that it will grow further in 2030 and 2040. The population
of Indonesia was 14% in 1970, and it increased over the passing of years, and it was 50% in
2020, and predicted that it will increase more.

To sum it up, all countries have been steadily growing, and their populations will increase in the
future that was predicted.

Task 2
The most important aim of science should be to improve people’s lives by inventing new
technology, by making new medicines, and by making new vehicles and doing many things. I
totally agree with this statement, and I elaborate on my points.

Science has made many inventions to provide better lives for individuals. Technology is very
important for scientists and also for people like as the help of science, they made the first
computer that was too large, but with the passing of time, science has advanced, making
artificial intelligence that comforts life for humans to maintain records and do their work with
the help of technology. In addition to the help of science, we have smartphones, and we have a
high-quality communication platform.

Science has become more advanced, and with the help of science, people are cultivating on
their rooftop like vegetables and fruits and enhancing their size and flavour. Furthermore,
science makes many medicines to cure diseases. For example, in 2019 world faced the
coronavirus, and at that time scientists made medicine to cope with the deadly virus that
spread like hell. Science helps and improves individuals' lives.

In conclusion, there is no doubt that science helps individuals with technology and with making
other valuable things, like medicines and advanced vehicles. Science not only helps in our
offices but also in our homes.
