Topic 1: Someone in Your Family
One of the most important people in my family is my father. He is 45 years old and
works as a construction worker. Every day, he works very hard to support our
family. My father is a strong, hardworking, and responsible person. Although his
job is difficult and tiring, he always cares about our family. In his free time, he
likes relaxing and watching movies on his phone. My father is very important to
me because he teaches me many things and he is my whole world.
Topic 2: An Important Party or Celebration
One important celebration I remember was my eighth birthday party. It took place
in my classroom when I was in primary school. The party was organized by my
parents and my teacher. My classmates and I were very excited. The classroom was
decorated with colorful balloons and a big birthday cake. We sang a birthday song,
played some games, and shared delicious snacks together. The most wonderful
moment was when I blew out the candles on my birthday cake. I felt very happy
and grateful because everyone celebrated my special day with me.
Topic 3: A Good Friend
My good friend is Nguyen Thi Thuy Tram. I have known her for about six years
since we studied together in secondary school. Tram is a kind, funny and friendly
person. She is also very helpful and always ready to listen when I have problems.
She is very beautiful and has long black hair and a bright smile. We usually go for
coffee together on our days off and share our stories. Lan is very important to me
because she always supports and encourages me when I feel sad. I feel very lucky
to have such a wonderful and cheerful friend.
Topic 4: A Special Event or Celebration
One special event I will never forget was my high school graduation ceremony. It
took place in May two years ago in the school yard of my school. Many students,
teachers, and parents attended the event. During the ceremony, the principal gave a
speech and students went onto the stage to receive their certificates of merit. We
also took many photos and talked happily with our friends and teachers. The most
memorable moment for me was when my name was called and I went onto the
stage to receive the last certificate of merit for being an excellent student in my
school life. This event was very special because it marked the end of my high
school life.
Topic 5: Your Favorite Place
My favorite place is a small milk tea shop near my house. It is a quiet, clean, and
cool place with soft music, warm lights, and many green plants. I often go there on
weekends to relax after a busy week and drink coffee. Sometimes I bring my
laptop to study or read books. I often go with my close friends, and we spend time
talking and sharing our stories. I really like this place because the atmosphere is
peaceful and comfortable. It always makes me feel relaxed and happy.
