Maybe I am the one misreading but for this set of homebrew you need to see the creature as a boss monster you have to defeat but only get the spell after doing so. So the two
spells presented are :

Mechanic Race/Species Spell
Mostly from the final fantasy carbuncles but they are usually a fairly peaceful creature just with spell reflect capabilities, so I had to figure out a way to make them a threat
appropriate to their CR.
