TRAFFIC STOP:

2/Phương tiện dừng-> yêu cầu tiếp theo:(Loa ngoài)
-turn off the engine, remove the keys from the ignition and place them
on the dashboard. Keep both hands on the steering wheel where I can
see them.
3/Báo đàn Backup:
"[Callsign], traffic stop, [vehicle description], license plate [PLATE],
located at [Location]. Requesting at least one unit for cover.
Backup tới → Tiếp cận xe:
-Tiếp cận phía sau ghế lái.
4/Chào và giới thiệu:
-Good evening/ morning, sir/ma'am
-Im "Rank"-"Name" from the BCSO/LSPD
Lý do Traffic Stop:
-The reason I stopped you is "Reason"
lý do phổ biến:
-Speeding
-Equipment violations
-Failure to stop / obey traffic signals
-Suspicious / matching description
5/ Lấy dấu vân tay-yêu cầu giấy tờ:
-May I see your driver’s license
-I need to take your fingerprints for identification

6/ Nhờ sĩ quan hỗ trợ tra cứu:
-Hồ sơ và hồ sơ phương tiện
Khai thác thông tin:
-Where are you coming from?
-Where are you headed?
-Is this your vehicle?
+Are you the registered owner of this vehicle?
Không phải chính chủ:
Do you have permission to be driving this vehicle?
The registration shows it's registered to [tên khác]. Can you explain that?
8. Results & Inform the Driver (Thông báo kết quả)
A. All clear (Không có vấn đề gì) "Everything checks out. You’re free to
go. Have a good night and drive safe."
B. No license / Suspended "Your license is showing suspended. I’m going
to have to issue you a citation and the vehicle will be towed."
C. Not the registered owner "This vehicle is showing registered to
someone else. Do you have permission to be driving it?"
D. Warrants / Wanted "Step out of the vehicle. Turn around and place
your hands behind your back. You have an active warrant."
E. Vehicle matches BOLO (Be On the Lookout) "This vehicle matches one
involved in a recent robbery. Keep your hands where I can see them."
9. If Releasing the Driver (Cho đi)
"Thank you for your cooperation tonight. Once I’m back in my patrol
vehicle and my lights are off, you’re free to leave. Drive safe."
10. Clear the Stop (Báo đàm kết thúc)
Radio: "[Callsign], Code 4 on the stop. All units can clear. Appreciate the
backup, guys."
FULL EXAMPLE SCRIPT (Một tình huống hoàn chỉnh)
PA: "Black sedan, pull to the right and stop." Radio: "3-David-20, traffic
stop, black Pfister, plate 12MARY549, eastbound Great Ocean Highway
near Chumash. Request cover." Approach: "Good evening sir. Deputy
Smith, Blaine County Sheriff’s Office. The reason I stopped you is you
have a taillight out. License, registration, and insurance please. I’m also
going to need your fingerprints for identification – right hand on the
scanner please." [Backup runs checks] "Everything checks out tonight.
Fix that taillight as soon as you can. Thank you for your cooperation.
Once my lights are off, you’re free to go. Have a safe night
