I'm here today to talk to you about a situation which is very
critical in the world: child sexual abuse. In recent years,
child abuse has been on the rise, with sexual abuse
accounting for a large proportion. In addition to causing
them profound psychological damage, sexual abuse also
leaves the victims with severe psychological traumas which
will last for an exceptionally long period of time. Child
sexual assault is the act by which an adult uses status or
force to induce or coerce minors, including boys and girls,
to engage in sexual activity. Children who have been
sexually abused are often threatened and harmed if they
tell the truth. These are extremely dangerous crimes
against society with the highest death penalty. All social
classes might be the target of child sexual abuse. Children
who have suffered from sexual abuse, therefore,
experience not just physical suffering, life-threatening
situations, and a higher chance of contracting infectious
diseases, but also very severe emotional consequences.
Children who have been sexually assaulted frequently
encounter intense panic or psychosis, which makes it
challenging for them to return to regular life. The World
Health Organization (WHO) calculates that 73 million boys
and 150 million girls have experienced sexual assault since
2002. The greatest rates of sexual assault were found to
occur in Africa (34.4%) and Asia (23.9%) in 2018, according
to a meta-analysis of WHO from 65 research in 22
countries. The percentages in the Americas and Europe
were 10.1% and 9.2%, respectively. The world's highest
rate of sexual abuse of both boys (60.9%) and girls (43.7%)
is located in South Africa.
The spread of hazardous movies and video games online,
the fact that most offenders have low levels of awareness
and unstable careers, the ease with which animal
behaviour can become out of control due to excessive
alcohol and beer consumption, and many other factors all
contribute to the rise in child sexual abuse crimes. In
addition to being overwhelmed by a bustling life, many
families have neglected their parental responsibilities.
In light of the aforementioned circumstances, the school
and the media must routinely promote and educate the
people and students on the law, strengthen Internet
management, and swiftly prohibit movies and games with
harmful content in order to detect and prevent, defend,
and inhibit this sort of crime. Children must be taken care
of, managed, and protected by the family. Children should
get rigorous instruction on gender issues, life skills, and
how to defend themselves from abuse.
In order to improve the effectiveness of child sexual abuse
prevention, there should be synchronous coordination
between the family, schools, the media, the government as
well as the overall strength of the whole society. So I hope

prevent and reverse this phenomenon and to protect the
children - the country's future preschools.
