Assignments to review foundational topics (prerequisites from your high school biology class)

What to do : You will watch the videos listed below to review key concepts covered in the
summer packet. You have 2 weeks time (due date for this assignment is 21st Sep 2025) to
complete the videos and the assignments listed below (alterative to the summer packet)

1) Scientific method & graphing : Watch the edpuzzle video


2) Biomolecules : Create a chart of Carbs, Lipids, Proteins, Nucleic Acids in your notebook
: structure + function.
3) Hydrogen bonding & properties of water : watch the edpuzzle video
4) Microscopy : watch the edpuzzle video
5) Make an infographic or drawing showing the different parts of a cell in your notebook
(all the major cell organelles should be included)
6) Introduction to genetics : edpuzzle video
7) DNA structure : watch the edpuzzle video
8) DNA replication and protein synthesis : Read short article on DNA Replication and
Protein Synthesis (use Khan Academy links or youtube videos on these topics ).

 You will write a one page “AP Bio Readiness Reflection”:


o What topics from biology you feel confident in.
o Which ones you struggle with.
