Chapter 9 discusses angles, defined as the space between two straight lines meeting at a point called the vertex, and measured in degrees. It describes three main types of angles: right angles (90°), acute angles (less than 90°), and obtuse angles (more than 90° but less than 180°). The chapter includes multiple-choice questions and essay prompts to reinforce understanding of angles and their applications in everyday objects.

Summary – Chapter 9: Angles

An angle is the space between two straight lines that meet at one point.

 The point where the two lines meet is called the vertex.
 Angles are measured in degrees (°).

There are three main types of angles:

1. Right Angle
o Measures exactly 90°.
2. Acute Angle
o Measures more than 0° but less than 90°.
3. Obtuse Angle
o Measures more than 90° but less than 180°.

We can see angles everywhere around us, such as in doors, clocks, books, windows, and
tables.
