1. Individual vs. Group Projects

2. Demo Day Procedure
Demo Days are held on the last day of each project cycle, announced at least 3 days in advance.

Judge agreement rule: if two judges differ by more than 1 point on any criterion, they discuss for 30 seconds, then each re-marks independently. Average
the two scores.
3. First Implementation — Simplified Rubric (3 Criteria)
Use this rubric for the first project cycle. Three criteria keep scoring fast enough that a judge can mark a group in under 2 minutes while the next one is
setting up.
Scoring: Each criterion is scored 1-4. Total score = sum of 3 criteria. Convert to %: multiply raw score by 8.33. Maximum = 12 points = 100%.

Introduce this rubric once students, teachers, and any guest judges are comfortable with the process. Teamwork is scored only on group projects.
Scoring: Each criterion is scored 1-4. Total score = sum of 6 criteria. Convert to %: multiply raw score by 4.17. Maximum = 24 points = 100%.
