Question forms
Để đặt câu hỏi, chúng ta thường đặt động từ trước chủ ngữ.
Affirmative Question
I am late. Am I late?
I can help. Can I help?
She is sleeping. Is she sleeping?
We have met before. Have we met before?
Nếu có từ để hỏi (why, what, where, how, v.v.), thì nó sẽ đứng trước động từ.
Question Question with question word
Are you late? Why are you late?
Was she there? When was she there?
Can I help? How can I help?
Have we met before? Where have we met before?
Điều này đúng với các câu có động từ be, các câu có trợ động từ (ví dụ: They are
waiting. She has finished.) và các câu có động từ khiếm khuyết (can, will, should,
might, v.v.).
