The Bruker Emergency Recovery USB-Stick contains a bootable, preconfigured Clonezilla version.
This document describes how to restore a Clonezilla image which is stored on the USB-Stick.
Restoring a Clonezilla Image from the Emergency Recovery USB-Stick is quite simple. Just follow
the procedure below.
Insert the Emergency Recovery USB-Stick into a USB port and power on the workstation.
Select LOAD IMAGE FROM USB-STICK TO LOCAL HD (sda) and press ENTER
Select the image to be restored and press ENTER
Clonezilla images reside in the folder /home/partimag/ on the Emergency Recovery USB-Stick
Enter 2x y to overwrite your hard disk with the previously selected image

The image restoring process takes about 10 minutes (depending on the image size and the USB-Stick)
The computer will automatically shut down after loading the image.
That’s it!
Now remove the Emergency Recovery USB-Stick, connect the network cables (if available) and switch
on the workstation.
