Format for the Group Project Report (Maximum 5 pages overall)

1. Group number, project title and group members with their roll-numbers
2. Abstract: 200-word executive summary of the work done in the project.
3. Overview: limit to 500 words (approximately 1 page). Must include the following in the overview: (a) Describe the
primary goal of the project (problem statement), (b) steps executed in the project, (c) expected outcome, (d) actual
outcome and key findings, (e) most innovative aspect of the project, (f) future work that could help complete the
primary goal, (g) who did what within the group.
4. Materials and Methods. Limit to 300 words. Must include the following: (a) Discuss the materials used in the project,
where it was procured from, (b) methods used in the project (c) equipment used for testing samples and the location
of the lab and the name of the test set-up in which the experiments were done (d) list (table) the item-name and cost
of any consumables purchased for the project (for which re-imbursement is applied) < Rs. 2000 per group.
5. Results and Discussion. Limit to 2 pages maximum. Show the important results in the form of figures/tables. Briefly
discuss the significant findings from the data obtained, referring to figure/table shown.
6. Conclusions: 100 words. List the key findings as bullet-points.

Report is due by 5 pm on Friday 10th April 2026.
