Student Name: Gonzales, Stephanie V.

Instructor: Harline Tenepere

Course & Year: BSED-English.

My demonstration in front of my classmates and my teacher Amelia was a challenging but good
experience for me. At first, I felt very nervous, and I was shy and shaking while I was speaking.
Because of that, I could not speak smoothly and I got a little confused at times. While I was
presenting, I tried my best to explain the topic in a simple way so my classmates could
understand. I also asked some questions and gave examples to keep them interested. Even
though I made a few mistakes, I still continued and did not stop. I also felt good because only a
few of my classmates were listening at that time, and they all participated and really listened to
me. That made me feel more comfortable and helped me continue my demonstration.

I am also thankful to Ma’am Harline for giving us the opportunity to experience a demonstration
early. This really helped me improve, especially in making a DLP. I learned that what is inside
my DLP is very important and it should connect to my PPT and to what I am saying during my
discussion. I also learned that it should be student-centered so that the students can learn more
and be more active. This experience helped me see what I need to improve. I realized that I
need more confidence and more practice when speaking in front of others. Overall, I am
thankful for this experience because I learned a lot from it, and I will do better next time.
