Job Title: Software Developer (Python Backend)

Software Developer (Python Backend).

real-time process insight, and intelligent workforce safety.

in the next three years. We are expanding our engineering team to strengthen the core
backend infrastructure that powers our edge-AI deployments across global manufacturing
plants.

hundreds of real-time AI edge systems. You will design, deploy, and scale FastAPI + Redis +
Celery + PostgreSQL + NanoMQ services running in Dockerized offline Linux environments.
At Senquire, you’ll work on cutting-edge production software, collaborate directly with AI and
C++ engineers, and see your code running on live factory floors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and maintain backend applications using FastAPI with asynchronous I/O for high-
throughput data pipelines.
2. Build and manage distributed task queues with Redis + Celery for real-time AI result
handling.
3. Implement message-driven architectures using NanoMQ / MQTT for edge-device
communication.
4. Develop and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and ORM models for large-volume
data.
5. Create and maintain Dockerized services for both on-premise and air-gapped (offline)
Linux environments.
6. Collaborate with C++ and AI inference teams to integrate Result-Handler and Detection
pipelines into backend services.
7. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following internal quality and ISO
9001/27001-ready practices.
8. Participate in code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and deployment automation for production
systems.
9. Monitor and debug distributed backend services across multiple edge nodes.
10. Stay current with new backend technologies and contribute to architectural
improvements.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or
equivalent.
2. 2–3 years of experience in Python backend development.
3. Strong proficiency in FastAPI (or Flask with async experience).
4. Hands-on experience with Redis, Celery, and PostgreSQL.
5. Familiarity with message brokers / MQTT systems (NanoMQ, RabbitMQ, or Mosquitto).
6. Comfort working in Linux environments; good command of Bash scripting.
7. Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration.
8. Understanding of RESTful API design, JSON serialization, and authentication
mechanisms.
9. Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.
10. Good analytical skills, debugging ability, and attention to performance optimization.
11. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
1. Familiarity with result-queue architectures and lock-free processing pipelines.
2. Understanding of C++–Python interoperability (pybind11 / gRPC).
3. Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB / InfluxDB) or time-series data.
4. Knowledge of WebSockets, gRPC, or event-driven systems.
5. Experience deploying AI/ML inference systems on the backend.
6. Understanding of networking, security, and encryption in offline edge environments.
7. Exposure to ISO 9001 / 27001 or industrial automation software contexts.
8. Familiarity with Prometheus / Grafana for backend observability.
