SCENE 1
INT. UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL – EMERGENCY WARD – NIGHT
Chaos.
Hospital doors burst open as DOCTORS and NURSES rush in a stretcher.
On it lies BISOLA, early 20s, pale, unconscious, bleeding. Her clothes are soaked. Her breathing
is shallow.
Her FRIENDS trail behind, shaken, crying, pleading.
NURSE
Clear the way!
The stretcher is wheeled into the emergency room. Curtains are pulled.
Machines beep urgently.
Doctors work fast — gloves on, commands sharp.
DOCTOR 1
Blood pressure is dropping.
DOCTOR 2
We’re losing her.
The doors slam shut.
CUT TO:
INT. EMERGENCY WARD WAITING AREA – MOMENTS LATER
Bisola’s friends sit frozen. Some pace. Others pray under their breath.
A DOCTOR steps out, removes his gloves slowly.
DOCTOR
Who is her closest relative?
Silence.
A friend stands, trembling.
FRIEND
We… we are her friends, sir.
The doctor takes a breath.
DOCTOR
I’m sorry.
A pause.
DOCTOR
She died from excessive bleeding.
The friends gasp.
The doctor hesitates, then speaks carefully.
DOCTOR
The bleeding was a result of complications from an abortion.
The words hang heavy in the air.
One friend collapses into tears.
SCENE 2
A lecture is about to begin. Students settle into their seats. The room is lively but controlled.
At the back of the class, TOLA, early 20s, popular campus content creator, discreetly sets her
phone against a book. Earphones in. Ring light OFF — she blends in.
TOLA
(whispering to camera)
Campus family… we lost a young woman today.
Bisola is gone.
TOLA
But beyond the tears, we need to ask
hard questions.
The camera SLOWLY ZOOMS IN on the phone screen — the live video spreads.
Notifications flash:
CUT TO CLOSE-UPS:
AYOMIPOSI
Why are we acting like we don’t know
who she was always moving around with?
A beat.
AYOMIPOSI
I’m very sure it’s that her favourite lecturer.
A shocked silence.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 3
INT. STAFF CONFERENCE ROOM – DAY
A long table. Files scattered. Coffee untouched.
A group of LECTURERS sit in tense silence. The mood is heavy, calculated.
Present are DR. OLADIPO, DR. SALAMI, DR. BASHIR, and DR. MRS. IWABI, late 40s,
sharp, composed, politically minded.
DR. OLADIPO
This situation is already damaging the image of the university.
DR. SALAMI
Students are restless. Social media is on fire.
DR. BASHIR
If we delay, management will lose control.
Murmurs of agreement.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi, who has been silent, finally speaks.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Why are we even having a meeting on this?
They turn to her.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Instead of debating, a panel should be set up immediately.
A pause.
DR. MRS. IWABI
This matter must be resolved before the forthcoming
candidate selection for Vice Chancellor.
The words land deliberately.
Dr. Oladipo leans back, considering.
DR. OLADIPO
You’re suggesting swift action.
DR. MRS. IWABI
I’m suggesting necessary action.
A beat.
DR. SALAMI
If a panel is formed now,
we control the narrative.
DR. BASHIR
And avoid complications later.
Oladipo nods slowly.
DR. OLADIPO
Then we take the necessary steps.
They exchange knowing looks.
A file is pushed to the centre of the table.
On it, written boldly: “DISCIPLINARY PANEL.”
The decision is made.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 4
INT. UNIVERSITY OFFICE – EVENING
Father sits alone behind his desk, marking scripts. The room is quiet. A table lamp glows softly.
A knock on the door.
FATHER
Come in.
DR. ADEKUNLE, mid-40s, a lecturer and one of the few who respects Father, steps in. His face
is tense.
He closes the door behind him.
DR. ADEKUNLE
(low voice)
I thought you should hear this from me first.
Father looks up, attentive.
FATHER
Hear what?
Dr. Adekunle hesitates, then speaks.
DR. ADEKUNLE
A panel has been set up.
Father pauses.
FATHER
A panel… for what?
DR. ADEKUNLE
For the Bisola matter.
Silence fills the room.
Father slowly leans back in his chair.
FATHER
I see.
DR. ADEKUNLE
There are rumours.
Dangerous ones.
Father exhales, heavy.
FATHER
Bisola was a good student.
He looks away, eyes distant.
FATHER
She loved being around me.
Not because I promised her anything…
but because she felt safe.
Dr. Adekunle listens.
FATHER
I am bitter about her death.
A young life lost senselessly.
His voice cracks, but he steadies himself.
FATHER
What surprises me most…
is how easily people believe I could do this.
He stands, pacing slowly.
FATHER
That I could be the one responsible for her pregnancy.
He stops.
FATHER
After all these years.
Dr. Adekunle steps closer, voice firm.
DR. ADEKUNLE
No matter the storm, I will stand by you.
Father looks at him.
DR. ADEKUNLE
I believe you.
I know the truth.
A beat.
DR. ADEKUNLE
And I do not believe the rumours.
Father’s shoulders ease slightly.
FATHER
Thank you.
They share a quiet, resolute look.
The storm outside feels closer now.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 5
INT. DR. MRS. IWABI’S OFFICE – DAY
A neat, well-organised office. Certificates line the wall.
DR. MRS. IWABI sits behind her desk, reviewing documents.
A knock.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Come in.
Three FEMALE STUDENTS enter — nervous, eager to be heard.
STUDENT 1
Ma, we came to talk about the rumours on campus.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi gestures for them to sit.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Go on.
STUDENT 2
People are saying Father and Bisola were more than lecturer and student.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi listens closely.
STUDENT 3
She was always with him, ma.
STUDENT 1
Even in class… if he was teaching,
he would call her name in particular,
just to ask if she understood.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi folds her hands.
DR. MRS. IWABI
And you’re certain about this?
A brief hesitation.
STUDENT 3
Yes, ma.
She pulls out her phone.
STUDENT 3
Some time ago, I saw them together.
She unlocks the phone, scrolling.
STUDENT 3
They were having dinner in a hotel.
She hands the phone over.
On the screen — a slightly blurred photo of Father and Bisola, seated at a restaurant table.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi studies the image carefully.
Her lips curve into a slow smile.
DR. MRS. IWABI
This is very helpful.
The students exchange glances.
DR. MRS. IWABI
You’ve done well.
She places the phone on her desk, satisfied.
DR. MRS. IWABI
This will be important during the panel.
The students nod, pleased.
As they stand to leave, Dr. Mrs. Iwabi looks again at the photo.
Her smile deepens.
She has found her weapon.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 6
INT. UNIVERSITY DISCIPLINARY PANEL ROOM – DAY
A formal room. Long table. Name placards.
At the head sits DR. MRS. IWABI. Beside her are DR. OLADIPO, DR. SALAMI, and DR.
BASHIR. Files are stacked neatly.
A wall clock ticks loudly.
The door opens.
FATHER enters, calm, composed. He greets politely.
FATHER
Good afternoon.
Some panel members nod. Others avoid eye contact.
Father takes his seat.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi clears her throat.
DR. MRS. IWABI
This panel has been constituted to address
allegations linking you to the late student, Bisola.
Father listens quietly.
DR. OLADIPO
The university’s image is at stake.
DR. SALAMI
We expect full cooperation.
FATHER
You will have it.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi opens a file.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Students have reported inappropriate closeness.
She looks up.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Did you have a personal relationship with the student?
FATHER
No.
A beat.
FATHER
I had a professional relationship.
Mentorship. Nothing more.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi exchanges a glance with Oladipo.
She slides a printed image across the table.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Can you explain this?
Father looks down.
The photo: Father and Bisola seated at a restaurant hotel.
He hesitates to answer.
The panel members lean forward, intense.
DR. OLADIPO
If you are innocent, how come you are seen in a hotel with her?
DR. SALAMI
Explain yourself.
DR. BASHIR
We need clarity. This looks improper.
Father opens his mouth, then a memory takes over.
FLASHBACK:
EXT. CONFERENCE VENUE – DAY
A professional venue. A LinkedIn-style career conference is about to begin.
Father and Bisola walk through the entrance.
FATHER
You’re going to learn a lot today, Bisola.
Meet new people. Connect. Network.
It’s an important part of your career path.
Bisola nods eagerly.
CUT TO:
INT. CONFERENCE HALL – LATER
The conference is over. Bisola turns to Father, excited.
BISOLA
Thank you so much, sir.
I’ve learned a lot.
I even found someone ready to mentor me for my career aspirations.
FATHER
I’m glad.
Remember, opportunities like these shape your future.
BISOLA
I’m hungry.
The venue has a place to eat. Shall we?
FATHER
Of course.
Let’s go grab something.
They walk to the venue’s restaurant.
CUT TO:
EXT. RESTAURANT – MOMENT LATER
Ayomiposi hides, phone in hand.
She watches Father and Bisola eat.
She snaps a photo secretly, satisfied, knowing she now has something to use against Father.
FATHER
She requested academic guidance.
The place was public.
There was nothing improper.
DR. BASHIR
Why a hotel?
FATHER
It was a public restaurant.
I did not choose the location.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi closes the file slowly.
DR. MRS. IWABI
This panel will deliberate.
She looks directly at Father.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Until then, you are advised to refrain
from teaching duties.
A pause.
DR. MRS. IWABI
You will be contacted.
Father nods.
FATHER
Thank you.
He stands and exits.
The door closes.
Inside the room, silence.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi exhales, satisfied.
DR. OLADIPO
We have enough to proceed.
Dr. Mrs. Iwabi nods.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Yes.
The clock ticks on.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 7
EXT. UNIVERSITY PANEL HALL – DAY
Father walks out of the panel room, calm but visibly tired. Papers in hand, he adjusts his bag.
The corridor outside is crowded.
A commotion catches his attention.
BISOLA'S MOTHER, mid-40s, distraught, sobs uncontrollably. Friends and neighbours cluster
around her.
BISOLA'S MOTHER
You killed my daughter!
You will pay!
You shall be jailed for this!
Father stops, taken aback but maintains composure.
FATHER
Ma… please, I did not harm her.
She shakes her head violently, inconsolable.
Nearby, ENIOLA (TOLA), early 20s, popular content creator, films the scene discreetly, phone
held high.
She speaks into her camera, whispering live updates.
ENIOLA
Live from the University campus…
Father just exited the disciplinary panel.
Students and parents are reacting strongly to Bisola’s tragic death.
Her mother is sobbing and demanding justice.
She pans the camera to show Father calmly walking, the angry crowd behind him.
ENIOLA
Tensions are high.
The university community is divided.
We will continue to follow up.
Father moves past the crowd, keeping his dignity.
Whispers, phones recording, and murmurs fill the air.
The weight of rumours and accusations hangs heavy.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 8
INT. FATHER'S HOME – NIGHT
The house is dimly lit. Father enters, weary. He sets down his bag.
His WIFE, early 40s, sharp-eyed and emotional, waits. She’s holding their young child.
WIFE
How could you, Father?
After everything… your first long-past scandal, I took responsibility,
and now this?
Her voice trembles.
WIFE
You know my condition.
You shouldn’t have allowed this…
At least i would have been mad at you,
but i would have taken the baby in.
But now… two lives are gone.
You are a murderer!
Father takes a deep breath.
FATHER
I am not.
I did everything to guide her.
The past is the past.
I have changed.
WIFE
Changed?
No, Father.
I cannot live with you anymore.
Who knows what you’ll do next?
She picks up their child, placing a protective hand over him.
WIFE
I’m leaving.
Take care of yourself.
She exits. The door clicks shut.
Father stands alone, the silence heavy.
He walks slowly to a chair and sits, head in hands.
FATHER (V.O.)
No matter what I say, no matter the truth,
people refuse to believe me.
Mentoring a student… now a crime.
A professor, trapped in this pit of trouble.
He looks up, eyes reflecting both pain and resolve.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 9
EXT. UNIVERSITY CAMPUS – DAY
Father arrives on campus. The morning is bright but tense. Students walk past, some whispering,
some casting curious glances.
He steps out of his car, adjusting his bag, the weight of yesterday heavy on his shoulders.
DR. ADEKUNLE approaches, calm and assured.
DR. ADEKUNLE
Father, don’t let this get to you.
He places a hand on Father’s shoulder.
DR. ADEKUNLE
I believe you.
No matter what the rumours say, I know the truth.
Father exhales, slightly relieved.
FATHER
Thank you.
It’s hard to face everyone after yesterday.
DR. ADEKUNLE
That’s why I’m here.
You’re not alone.
He looks around the campus, then back at Father.
DR. ADEKUNLE
Loyalty matters.
I pledge mine to you.
Be confident.
Stand tall.
Father nods, absorbing the support.
Students passing by notice the exchange but dare not intervene.
A faint murmur of hope spreads among those who support him.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 10
INT. UNIVERSITY CLASSROOM – DAY
ENIOLA (TOLA) sets up her camera, preparing for a live update.
ENIOLA
Good morning, campus family…
Today marks the second disciplinary panel for Father.
We’ll be covering all the developments live.
She pans the camera to show students gathering outside the panel room.
CUT TO:
INT. PANEL ROOM – DAY
The second panel begins. Tension is thick.
DR. MRS. IWABI
We need to discuss recent incidents concerning Father and Bisola.
Various panel members exchange intense glances.
Debates flare. Accusations, clarifications, and heated arguments echo.
Finally, Dr. Mrs. Iwabi speaks up.
DR. MRS. IWABI
I remember one night when most lecturers stayed back…
I went to his office to discuss the next project.
I found Bisola adjusting herself and him coming from his restroom, adjusting himself.
Gasps. Tension spikes. Whispers ripple across the panel.
FATHER
That day… I can explain.
FLASHBACK:
INT. FATHER’S OFFICE – NIGHT (PAST)
Bisola is helping Father with documents and project work.
Father steps out briefly to the restroom.
While alone, Bisola accidentally spills printing ink on herself.
Before she can react, Dr. Mrs. Iwabi walks in abruptly.
DR. MRS. IWABI
What are you doing here without my permission?
Bisola tries to respond, but Dr. Mrs. Iwabi dismisses her.
DR. MRS. IWABI
I want to speak with Father.
Bisola exits, embarrassed.
FLASHBACK ENDS
FATHER
It was an accident. Nothing improper occurred.
The panel exchanges skeptical looks.
DR. OLADIPO
You must come clean.
Otherwise, we cannot help you.
Father maintains composure, speaking honestly.
FATHER
I am telling the truth.
DR. MRS. IWABI
Since you refuse to acknowledge the situation fully,
the final decision will be made at the third panel.
You will have to accept the outcome.
Other lecturers begin mocking, ridiculing him.
DR. MRS. IWABI
You cannot take everything for granted.
When he became HOD, I stayed quiet.
When he became Dean, I stayed quiet.
But over my dead body will a murderer become the Vice Chancellor.
One by one, other lecturers nod and throw subtle shades at him.
The panel adjourns. The final judgement is reserved for the third panel.
CUT TO:
INT. ENIOLA’S ROOM – DAY
Eniola sets up her camera. Papers and notifications surround her.
ENIOLA
After an anonymous tip, I’ve been following these confidential meetings.
Another tip just came in regarding today’s hearing.
We’re going live to update you on every development.
She checks the camera, ensures lighting is correct, and presses record.
FADE OUT.
SCENE 11
Scene opens and students are seen In class, discussing in groups.
Overhearing her coursemate conversations, the best friend stands up and walks out of the class
in anger.
The person: Your face looks familiar. I think I have seen you with that lady who died.
The best friend: Hisses and raises her voice. Will you get your annoying self out of my face!
She walks away.
Vm 1: How far you are not saying anything about this matter.
Vm 2: Don't act like you're clueless. How can you claim that someone is your roommate and you
don't know anything about her? Not even who she's dating?.
Ignoring them, the best friend walks to her room, panting mildly and then heavily.
The gossip from earlier in the day replays and echoes in her head
Scene closes.
NB: Vm -- Villamates
SCENE 12
Dr. Mrs iwabi - ( walks in with arms akimbo) aha!!! Wonders shall never end, Mr man,
what do you think you are doing, what gave you the audacity to teach, you this good for
nothing man, I thought you are still on panel trial so what now have u the effrontery to
think you can continue lecturing in this school, abi e ma bami ree kan( she eyes him
maliciously)
Action- ( student whispering among themselves)
Father- ( looking shock and embarrassed at the sudden confrontation) Dr iwabi, I know I
am currently on trial but that does not said nor stop me from doing what I am being paid
for, at least the management of the school has not directed that I should not teach so why
all this embarrassment, moreover as you know exam is fast approaching and I need to
cover all my scheme of work that is why I thought it wise to fix a class with them, so i don't
understand your reason for barging into my class and... ( She cuts him off rudely )
Action( with a raise of her hand slightly in front of father)
Dr iwabi- will you keep quiet, what nonsense, you still have mouth to speak abi, you this
foolish man, are you really teaching this student or you are looking for your next prey ( she
eye him, hiss and gesticulate to imitate him) I am trying to cover my scheme ( she hiss)
common will you match out of this class useless man, murderer !!! Get out. ( gesticulating
with her mouth)
Action( father walking out of the class in shame with his head down, the wicked lecturer
following after him)
Student- ( comes out in front of the class) can someone explain to me what just happened
here ( she clap her hand maliciously ) what is happening in this school sef.
Action ( some students gathering in groups after the disruption of the class, whispering and
others sitting in one corner of the class) hmm wonders they say shall never end, so he is
gulty and still pretending to be good. They really say you can't judge a book by it cover.
Chai!! Father, I still find it hard to believe that he could do such a thing. Mtcheew people
are wicked.
( End of scene)
Scene 13
( Dr iwabi in her office thinking and soliloquizing) Hmm so this man thinks he can get
away with his crime and come to think of it,for the fact that he met me here he thinks he
can override me, he wants to get to the top of the ladder before me ( laughs maliciously)
that is not possible, it would be over my dead body, infact I will make sure to disgrace him
anywhere I see him that no one will inform him before he will run away him shame. Aha!
Who does he thinks he is? When did he get here pa pa gan? That he wants to override me,
that would be over my dead body. Mtcheew I won't let that happen, but right now I need to
look for what I can use against him in the trial so he won't be able to speak anymore.
Actions ( her phone rings , it picks it up and got a tip from an anonymous source, smiling
she ends the call, acting joyful) hmm this saying is really true that if God is for you, who
can be against you, I think now God is for me and against him, this one I have gotten is
exclusive and by the time I bring it out in front of the panel, he won't have anything to say.
(She laughs) God is good. ( Walks proudly inside her office) Very soon there would be no
one to drag this position with me. On that day they will say all stand and welcome your
VC, but for now let's go and deal with that riff-raff who thinks he can just come from no
where and over ride me. ( She smiles while holding her phone) We shall see.
SCENE 14

He is crying.
YOUNG FATHER
She was my past… a long-time ex. The life I lived then is gone. I have changed.

Is it because I haven’t given you a child yet?
I know I am not barren. God’s time is the best.
YOUNG FATHER
No. Never. It’s not about that.
YOUNG WIFE
I will accept the child as mine.
But promise me… this will never happen again.
YOUNG FATHER

Voices overlap.
Silence.

instability this case has caused the institution—

the wall. The atmosphere is tensed.
Mrs Oluwole: You this shameless man, my God will judge you, you will
rot in hell.( forces her way in). Agbaya!!!!!

be your daughter yet you killed her, you will rot in jail. Oloshi Okunrin. (

moving out) My only child, who will call me mommy now, Bisola mi o.
NEXT SCENE:
After the news of Father’s arrest is everywhere.
The scene shows Temilade crying and speaking to herself.
Temilade: (Crying and speaking softly) How did I let this happen? What
do I do to rectify this now?? All because of my cowardice, an innocent
man was disgraced and dismissed and might be imprisoned for
life.(Paise for a moment, look around, pick her phone and start to make
a video).
Good evening everyone, my name is Temilade and I am a 300 level law
student. What I’m about to say is the real version of the story and I’m
sorry it took me too long before I spoke out, I’m sorry it took me seeing
an innocent man life gets crumbled and almost lost before I said it.
When I was in 100level, I had to borrow a course from Mass
communication and that is how I encountered Dr Oladipo, when our
results came out I realized I had an F in the course so I went to meet
him, (Tears dripping down her eyes) and that was the beginning of my
misfortune, he told me there was nothing he could do about it and I
should be ready to retake the exam, I was desperate as this was my first
exam and I didn’t even know how to handle it, he saw and feed in my
desperation and told me to meet him at an hotel. (Long pause as she
weeps) I foolishly went there, he raped me!!!! I promise I didn’t consent
to the sex, he raped me and walked out leaving me in my shame. Later
on, I told myself life continues and I shouldn’t let this stop me not
knowing a bigger disaster was on it way,( more tears) I discovered I was
pregnant and I went to him.
FLASHBACK
Dr Oladipo: (Furious) What do you mean you are pregnant?? Am I
supposed to know you??
Temilade:(Crying) Ahhhhhh!! Sir!!! You know me, please sir. You took my
virginity.
Dr Oladipo: Something I didn’t even enjoy, you kept crying and
fighting,(hiss) Stupid girl. Your boyfriend has had his fill of you Abi??
And you want to pin it on you, you don’t know what is wrong with you.
Temilade:( still in tears) Sir, I don’t have a boyfriend, Ahhh God what is
this?? My mummy will kill me.
Dr Oladipo: (Angrily) I will kill you before your mother has a chance to
do so if you don’t get out of my office. Shameless whore, trying to pin a
bastard on me.( Whispering) If anybody hears about this nonsense, I
will show you how I got my doctorate degree. Useless girls everywhere.
Temilade: ( Leaves with tears in her eyes) My life is ruined!!!
END OF FLASHBACK
Temilade: ( still in tears) Not one of my proudest moment but I had to
save my face cos the shame would have been too much, I took an
abortion pill I got from a chemist, things got out of hand and I lost the
baby and my womb together.( more tears and a pause, cleans her eyes
and blows her nose).
I know everyone is wondering what is your business with this story, just
hold on a bit please. Later on in 200 level, I couldn’t afford the rent
again and I needed a roommate and that was how I met Bisola. Bisola
was so filled with life and was very nice, I know most of us thinks Bisola
is a bad person but I promise you she is not, she was a good person who
got cut in the wrong aspect of the educational experience. Along the
line, Bisola and I got close and she shared secrets, thoughts and even
actions with me. After a while of living together, Bisola started to giggle
on phone, night calls and gifts and as roommates she stole me she was
seeing someone, she went out more often and I was worried as I don’t
know this boyfriend of hers and to avoid story that touches, I kept
insisting of seeing the boyfriend and to my surprise it was Dr Oladipo,
yes the same man that destroyed my life, I kept my surprise to myself as
I was not comfortable sharing that shameful experience with her yet, I
warned her to stop the relationship. One thing about Bisola is that she
shares everything with me and she kept sending me pictures from their
outings, receipts, and even some of their messages and I kept dropping
subtle warnings for her. One day she got pissed off at my insistence of
her ending the relationship and had an outburst, I had to apologize and
I was thinking of others way to destroy the relationship but things were
bad already.
FLASHBACK
Scene opens to a student room, a medium bed, reading table and
chairs, books and bags.
Temilade:(walks in from class, greets Bisola cheerfully) Babe wassup!
Bisola:( answers with a worried look on her face) Welcome jare.
Temilade: Madam, what’s with the attitude?? Are you fine??
Bisola: Temmy, I think I’m pregnant.(with a worried look on her face)
Temilade: Jesus!(drops her bag hurriedly on the floor and sits beside her
friend), What do you mean pregnant?? You have been having
unprotected sex ke?? Who is responsible??
Bisola:(tears in her eyes) I’m finished!!
Temilade: (Fears in her eyes but speak with a steady voice) Calm down,
has it been confirmed?(Bisola nods negative)Thank God it might be your
hormones misbehaving, it happens at times, just relax and take a test
first. Have you told him yet??
Bisola: Not yet.
Temilade: Calm down, it might be your body pranking you. Just
relax.(hugs her to calm her).
END OF FLASHBACK
Temilade: She went to the hospital to run a test that morning while I
went to class and when I came back.
FLASHBACK
Temilade: ( coming back from class, exchanging pleasantries with her
neighbor, enters the houses and runs out screaming).
Somebody help me!!! Blood!!! Life!!! Help o!!!!
(Neighbors rush out to help her and bisola was rushed to the hospital)
END OF FLASHBACK
Temilade:( in tears again) we rushed Bisola to the hospital and she
never made it out of there alive. She died o!!!! Dr Oladipo killed my
friend not Father.
Two days after her death, I realized she sent me a WhatsApp message,
where she was updating me about the whole story, her test result and
Dr Oladipo telling her he wasn’t ready now and a child will slow her
down so he gave her a pill, a pill that not only killed her baby but took
my sister alongside.
I will be dropping the whole evidence after this video, the innocent man
will not take the fall, I will take my blame in this case too but the real
culprit of my sister’s death must not be roaming freely.
Thank you.
( camera shows students gathered in groups with theirs phone in their hands discussion about
the just released video by the deceased friend)
(Group 1 discussion)
STUDENT 1: My God No… no way.
STUDENT 2: So… it wasn’t Father?
STUDENT 3: of course it wasn't Father, I knew from the beginning didn't I tell you guys He is a
very good man and he will never do such a thing...
(More students gather to testify about the good things Father has done for them)
Student 3: Father is a very good man...I remember when I didn't have foodstuff and he noticed
that I was moody in class, he approach me, listened to me and even gave me money to get
some food stuff you remember now ( looks at her friend to see if she remembers)
Student 4: (looks at her friend and snaps her friend showing that she remembers something)
I can't believe I forgot what Father did for me last session
I was on my way to school he saw me on the road and gave me a lift thanks to him I would have
missed the early morning class I had that day
Student 5: Father is such a good Man (looks at her friend and says) remember that course I had
issues with in 200 level MCM 201...I didn't tell you how I sorted the issues but it was Father that
begged the lecturer on my behalf and even connected me with a senior colleague who tutored
me and made me do better in 300 level
(All of them look at themselves with pity in their eyes for Father)
( Camera shows Eniola the school's content creator with her tripod and her phone making a
video about the current situation in school)
ENIOLA: The school has been silent. Silent while a man’s name is dragged. Silent while
students are confused. Silent while the truth is sitting in everyone’s phone.
(She leans closer to the) camera.
ENIOLA: The video is out and the culprit has been exposed will the school Authority really do
nothing about this and allow an innocent Man suffer... We really hope not
(Pause.)
ENIOLA: This is the same man who paid tuition for three students last semester.
The same man who visits the hostel when someone is sick. The same Man who mentors
students who are struggling Academically.
ENIOLA: If the school won’t speak, we will definitely speak up
( Eniola's words Triggers the students around her and this leads to a protest
PROTEST LEADER: what are we still waiting for...I think we should start a protest immediately
Wetin we dey wait for...
PROTEST LEADER:( Raises a placard with an inscription saying reinstate Father and chanting
...)
This is our voice... we must be heard
(Other students follow his lead and continue to chant...)
"this is our voice we must be heard
DR MRS IWABI: (sighs deeply) inu manika ooo, Men are wicked
DR SALAMI: This Panel session is being held against Dr Oladipo, I have always seen him as a Man of
integrity but with the video trending currently I discovered that he is not who I assumed him to be...
DR MRAS IWABI: (rises up looking disappointed) I'm really ashamed of you Dr Oladipo
You have brought shame unto the University...Not only did you try to bring down a fellow Lecturer but
you went as far as being sexually involved with a student you impregnated her and this led to her death.
And you still have the guts to contest as a candidate for the vice chancellors position, that is definitely
not happening not under my watch (says it with all seriousness)
We called a panel session against Father and I was actively involved in dragging his name in the Mud not
knowing that the real culprit was sitting with us in every panel session we called.
DR ADEKUNLE: I have always known that Father was innocent and knows nothing about the allegations
laid on him
I'm really Grateful to God for exposing the real culprit behind all this...and Now that we know the truth I
believe there is no need for further discussion
DR MRS IWABI: I totally agree with you Dr Adekunle, Dr Oladipo he has done a great Damage to the
reputation of the school and he is a huge threat to our students. we expect him to be a protector to the
students not a predator but he has done otherwise
So...I believe he should no longer be in this institution with us to prevent more calamity from befalling
the students.(She says this raising her hand up and looking at other lecturers to see if they are in
support)
( The police step into the panel Hall to Arrest Dr Oladipo putting an hand cuff in his hands and taking him
out of the hall)
DR MRS IWABI: ( speaks as Dr Oladipo is being taken out of the hall by the police)
( As he is being brought out still looking down in shame students gather outside the hall raining abusive
words on him and throwing things at him)
CONTENT CREATOR: ( Bring out her phone to record the whole happening and give her followers updates
about the panel session showing her satisfaction about the outcome)
DR OLADIPO is escorted out of the environment by the police and scence closes)
Camera opens to the Panel hall with lecturers sitting round a wooden four corner table and Father
standing in the Middle list in thoughts)
I know that no amount of words we say here can take away the pains you feel or even bring back all
you've lost but...I want to tender our sincere Apologies for all that you have gone through in the last few
months...
Father...I'm really sorry for misjudging you and dragging your reputation in the Mud
I'm short of words right now but I'm deeply sorry (put hands together as a sign of apology)
DR SALAMI: we bless God that the culprit has been exposed and you've been vindicated
I sincerely apologise for joining the multitude to point accusing fingers against you Dr Gabriel Adeyemi
I'm glad to let you know that you've been reinstated back to the University to continue to lecture our
students and instill in them Good morals and as well you will be compensated by the University for all
the Damages done to your Reputation
It doesn't end there, you are also still legible to be a candidate for the Vice chancellor position
Camera zoom in on Father standing with tears dripping down his eyes. (Scene closes)
