Structure: If + Present Indefinite Tense + Present Indefinite Tense
For example:
✓ If we heat iron, it turns into red.
✓ If water freezes, it turns into rice.
❖ Frist Conditional:
Structure: If + Present Indefinite Tense + Future Indefinite Tense
For example:
✓ If you come in time, I shall go with you.
✓ You will win the match, if you have a good plan.
✓ If say you, I will do it in time.
❖ Second Conditional:
Structure: If + Past Indefinite Tense + Past Conditional (Would / Could / Might + V1)
For example:
✓ If he did it, I would know it before.
✓ If he were like me, I would feel relaxed.
✓ If you said, I would do it in time.
❖ Third Conditional:
Structure: If + Past Perfect Tense+ Past Perfect Conditional (Would / Could / Might + have +
V3 )
For example:

Structure: Had + Subject + V3+ Past Perfect Conditional (Would / Could / Might + have + V3)
