System (GHIMS). As a nurse/midwife, explain and justify how you would contribute to the
design phase to ensure the system supports nursing/midwifery workflow and patient care.

2. Scenario (10 Marks)

A patient’s medication information is incorrectly entered into the Electronic Health Record
(EHR) system (e.g., LHIMS or GHIMS), creating a risk of a medication overdose. Using the
nursing informatics skills framework, explain the steps you would take to identify the error,
correct the record, report the incident, and prevent similar errors in the future.
