TENSION 14 rows and 10 stitches over 2.5cm with 2.25mm needles and yarn A
EXTRAS 9mm toy safety eyes with washer backs; toy filling (I use felt tops);

BELLY
The Belly sts are picked up and knitted either side and across the Throat

Adding a Wire Armature
The wires I use are 30cm in length and for the hind legs I use one length for
both legs so measure the length of both legs from one foot, across the body
to the other foot and then double this length plus an inch or so. Trim off the
excess wire.
Fold the wire so that you have double wire thickness and twist that extra inch
to create a loop of wire which you flatten (what you should have is a flattened
loop of yarn which is joined by twisting the ends, the length should be the same
as the two legs from one foot to the other).
