INTRODUCTION

Prefect Body forms an essential part of this mission. It is through this
structure that learners are given the opportunity to demonstrate leadership,

Being appointed as a prefect is a distinction that reflects trust. It is an
acknowledgement by the school leadership that you possess the maturity,
integrity, and potential to contribute meaningfully to the school community.

Head Prefect
Working closely with the Headmaster, the Head Prefect provides overall
leadership to the Prefect Body. This role requires strong communication skills,
confidence, and the ability to coordinate and guide others effectively. The
Head Prefect represents the student body in formal settings and ensures that
all prefects are fulfilling their responsibilities.
Deputy Head Prefect
The Deputy Head Prefect supports the Head Prefect in all aspects of
leadership. This includes assisting with organization, maintaining discipline,
and stepping into leadership when required. The role demands reliability,
awareness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Academic Prefect
Under the guidance of the Coordinator, the Academic Prefect promotes a
culture of academic commitment and excellence. This includes encouraging
learners to take their studies seriously, supporting academic initiatives, and
assisting where learners may require guidance.
Sports Prefect
Working with the Sports Organizer, the Sports Prefect plays a key role in
developing school spirit through physical activity. This includes assisting in
organizing sports events, encouraging participation, and promoting
teamwork and discipline.
Activities and Events Prefect
This role, aligned with the Event Manager and Assistant Director, focuses on
the successful planning and execution of school events. It requires creativity,
organization, and the ability to manage details effectively.
Discipline Prefect
Reporting to the Headmaster and Vice Headmaster, the Discipline Prefect
supports the maintenance of order within the school. This role requires
fairness, maturity, and the ability to act with integrity at all times.
Ambassador / Welfare Prefect
Working with the Director, this prefect represents the school’s image and
values. Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, assisting new learners,
and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.
MEETINGS AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Prefect meetings are an essential component of effective leadership. They
provide a structured platform for communication, planning, and evaluation.
