ACTIVITY in QUANTITY SURVEYING

A reinforced concrete building has 12 columns with a clear height of 4.00 meters. Determine the required
scaffolding under the following specifications: 2”x 3” vertical support; 2” x 2” horizontal and diagonal
braces.

a) Plywood Form
b) Wood frame
c) Scaffolding for columns
d) Scaffolding for the beam
e) Scaffolding for the concrete slab
f) Floor Slab forms
g) Summary of the materials

Note:
▪ Typical column has 0.40m x 0.40 m dimension
▪ Use of 6mm (1/4”) marine plywood on a 2”x2”
wood frame.

Determine the masonry works for the given wall section using 4” CHB. The wall is plastered both sides.
