The assignment is set in four sections. Attempt all.

Section A: Key Inquiry Questions.


i. How do children learn language?
ii. Why is it important to learn about the stages of language development?

Section B: Suggested Learning Experiences.


In your respective studying group,
i. Draw a concept map showing language development stages,
ii. use ICT to search for information with relevant sources on the stages of language development,
iii. prepare a Powerpoint using the information obtained from the research and present it,
iv. work with peers to assess the Powerpoint presentation and give feedback,
v. watch videos on the stages of language development and summarise the content,
vi. design relevant learning experiences for the different stages of language development in groups.
Section C: Core competencies to be developed.
In your respective groups you are expected to explain and demonstrate the following Core Competencies in
the manner prescribed for each below:
i. Learning to learn and Reflective Practices
Listen to presentations and give each other constructive peer feedback.
ii. Digital Literacy Skills
Teacher trainee to conduct online research on stages of language development.

Section D: Citation/Bibliography
Cite a minimum of six research resources you used to gather content on phrases. Use MLA format.

Nb: Avoid ChatGPT generated presentations.
