Case Study 1: Child Labor and Education
Ali’s situation highlights how poverty forces children into labor,
depriving them of education and future opportunities. The main
problems include child labor, lack of school access, and parents
prioritizing income over education due to survival needs.

A social worker can help by counseling the family, raising awareness

about the importance of education, and connecting them to financial
aid programs, scholarships, or NGOs. Interventions like conditional
cash transfers, free schooling, and flexible learning hours can balance
income needs with education.

Community awareness (through campaigns, schools, and local

leaders) can change attitudes, discourage child labor, and promote
long-term benefits of education.

Case Study 2: Domestic Violence and Women

Empowerment
Sara’s situation is driven by domestic violence, financial dependence,
social stigma, and lack of legal awareness.
These factors prevent her from leaving the abusive environment.

A social worker should first ensure her immediate safety by
connecting her to shelters, helplines, and legal protection. They can
also provide counseling and legal guidance about her rights.

Empowerment programs such as skill development, job

opportunities, financial support, and awareness campaigns can help
her gain independence, rebuild confidence, and live safely.

Case Study 3: Drug Abuse Among Youth

Ahmed’s drug addiction is mainly caused by peer pressure, lack of

parental awareness, and possible mental health struggles. His
condition worsened due to late intervention and isolation.

A social worker can support recovery through rehabilitation

programs, counseling, and mental health support, while also
involving his family in the recovery process.

Prevention requires family communication, school awareness

programs, and early intervention. Community strategies like youth
engagement activities, anti-drug campaigns, and strict control
policies can reduce drug abuse among young people.

Case Study 4: Elderly Neglect and Social Isolation
Mr. Khan’s situation reflects elder neglect, loneliness, lack of family
attention, and declining health. Busy family routines have led to
emotional and physical neglect.
A social worker can improve his well-being by arranging regular
health care, counseling, social engagement activities, and family
mediation to rebuild support.
Families can be educated through awareness programs about elderly
care and emotional support. Community services like senior centers,
social groups, home visits, and healthcare services can reduce
isolation and improve quality of life.

Task 5 :- Current Affair of Iran and Israel War :

In my opinion, the Iran–Israel war is a dangerous conflict that is
affecting not only these two countries but the entire world. While
both sides claim to be acting for their security, the continuous
escalation is causing huge loss of innocent lives and economic
instability. Instead of military action, diplomatic solutions and
negotiations should be prioritized to prevent further destruction.
I believe that powerful countries getting involved is making the
situation worse rather than better. This war shows how political
tensions can quickly turn into large-scale violence. The focus should
be on peace, dialogue, and protecting civilians.
Overall, this conflict highlights the need for global cooperation and
stronger efforts to maintain peace, because modern wars no longer
stay limited—they affect the whole world.
