Sub:-Preparation of bills of all executed works particularly under JJM.

CIRCULAR
It has been observed that bills in respect of works executed under various
schemes, particularly under JJM, are still pending for preparation. This is adversely
impacting the financial progress as wellas the accurate projection of demands of fund
to the higher authorities.
In view of the above, all Executive Engineers are hereby directed to ensure that
bills for all executed works are prepared without any further delay. Further, Third Party
Agency Inspection, wherever applicable, sthall be conducted strictly in accordance with
the prescribed procedures. A consolidated scheme-wise status report indicating details
of executed works along with the corresponding billing position shall be furnished to
this office within one week positively. Priority shall be accorded to works completed
earlier and those pending for financial closure.
The Superintending Engineers concerned shall closely monitor the progress in
this context on a weekly basis and ensure that billing is carried out regularly and
expeditiously within their respective jurisdictions.
As such, it is impressed upon all Executive Engineers/Assistant Executive
Engineers/Assistant Engineers/Junior Engineers that any delay or laxity in compliance
with these directions shall be viewed seriously and may invite appropriate action.
