COURSE SYLLABUS

COURSE DESCRIPTION This course is designed to build on the foundation of basic programming skills and concepts to develop more
advanced skills in problem-solving, algorithmic design, and software development. Students will learn how to design
and implement more complex programs using object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, including classes,
inheritance, and polymorphism.

Students will also learn about software development best practices, including version control using Git, debugging
techniques, testing, and documentation.

FLEXIBILITY
The course expects that the students will be able to learn about system administration and maintenance. This course also includes discussion of the theories behind system
administration and implementation and maintenance of computer systems through computer laboratory activities. The reference materials for this course are not limited to those
listed above. The students may use other learning resources that they deemed appropriate and relevant. Reliable and accurate internet materials can also be used. The topics
covered in this syllabus may also be altered depending on the needs of the students. The order and the phasing of the topics may also vary subsequently to the intensity of
deliberations or discussions that may take place. Other unavoidable circumstances may also affect the phasing and completion of the
course. In such cases necessary adjustments and proper arrangements with the students shall be made to hold makeup classes to meet the target of the course.
