Studies 3: The Effectiveness of Elsa Speak Application to Improve Pronunciation Ability

This study used descriptive survey research to evaluate the effectiveness of the Elsa Speak
application in improving students’ pronunciation ability. The research was conducted at SMK
Taruna Bhakti, Kodu Gede. The participants were 11 students from a total population of 37
students of class XI. The purpose of this study was to take advantage of technological devices
in order to help students improve their pronunciation skills, which will be very useful for
students when entering the world of international work. The data collection methods used in
this study included observation, tests, and documentation. The result showed that the use of
Elsa Speak can improve students’ pronunciation ability by 25.45%.
