INTRODUCTION
Welcome to our presentation on NVIDIA Corporation. In the
next few slides, we will explore how NVIDIA has transformed the
world of computing through its innovations. NVIDIA is known for
developing integrated circuits, which are used in everything from
electronic game consoles to personal computers (PCs). The company
is a leading manufacturer of high-end graphics processing units
(GPUs). From its founding and key product lines and it’s unique and
distinct market chain we'll provide a comprehensive view of
NVIDIA's journey.
NVIDIA

NVIDIA Corporation, based in Santa Clara, California, is a globally renowned technology company.
Founded in 1993 by Jensen Huang, Chris Malachowsky, and Curtis Priem NVIDIA has
become a key player in the tech industry. The company's primary mission is to "be the computing platform
that powers the world's artificial intelligence (AI) and scientific breakthroughs." NVIDIA is synonymous
with Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and is widely recognized for its innovations in the GPU market.
NVIDIA’ S MARKET
CHAIN
MARKET CHAIN
NVIDIA operates outside a traditional market chain,
selling products like GeForce and Quadro GPUs
through diverse channels such as direct sales,
partnerships with computer manufacturers, and
distribution to retailers. Additionally, they offer
technologies for data centers and automotive
applications. This unconventional approach diverges
from a typical retail chain, encompassing direct sales
and industry-specific collaborations.
1. Gathering and assembling of Raw materials
Nvidia as a technology company, needs it's manufacturers to provide Nvidia with it's
raw materials which Nvidia will work on and transform into its products such
as graphic cards. Many different parts are needed to make the final product and
that's why Nvidia has many different types of manufactures for the different types of
raw materials.
Example :
● GPUs : TSMC (Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company) ,Samsung
● Memory chips : Samsung , SK hynix , Micron

Other raw materials such as Printed circuit board (PCBs) , Electronic component
suppliers , etc are manufactured by the companies specializing in it.
2. Manufacturing - Where it begins
As mentioned in the previous slide , Nvidia has many
manufactures which produce it's raw materials. These raw
materials are then shipped to Nvidia by the manufacturers.
Nvidia has manufacturing and assembly factories strategically
located across the globe to receive the raw materials and work on
creating the final products such as GPUs. These processes
take around a few months to finish.
3. Distribution of Final products
NVIDIA distributes its products through various channels, including direct sales,
partnerships with computer manufacturers, and distribution to retailers. The
company sells its graphics processing units (GPUs) and related technologies to
consumers, businesses, and other industries. Additionally, they work closely
with original equipment manufacturers to integrate their GPUs into a range of
devices, contributing to a larger market reach and accessibility.
Main PRODUCT

Nvidia GPU
RTX 4090

NVIDIA boasts a diverse portfolio of products. Its GPUs are the cornerstone, powering
everything from gaming and professional graphics to AI and high-performance computing. NVIDIA's
GPUs are essential for accelerating AI and scientific simulations. GeForce and Quadro GPUs cater
to gaming enthusiasts and professional graphics users, respectively
4. How these products reach us
The products of nvidia reach the
consumers on a large scale through
several companies such as Asus
,ROG(Republic of Gamers) and MSI. As
nvidia does manufacture GPUs(Graphics
processing units) for other companies
to sell under their name. They reach us
online in many web sellers such as
Newegg . They can also be found in many
places in Singapore such as in Sim Lim
Square in Rochor.
WHAT MAKES NVIDIA DIFFERENT ?
Nvidia produces GPUs in massive batches,
then tests them for quality and uses the
results from that to sort them into a
specific performance tier. They retain THE RTX 4090 GPU

some of these to put in their own Founder's

Edition line of graphics cards, and sell the
rest to companies who they've established
an existing relationship. These firms will use
them to build their own complete graphics
cards, usually with a few tweaks added in like
improved coolers, factory overclocks, or RGB
lights to differentiate themselves from the

competition.
NVIDIA MARKET CHAIN

1. Procuring raw 2. Assembling and 3. Distribution of final produ

materials manufacturing

4. Retailing of products by
retailers
THE KEY TO NVIDIA’S
SUCCESS
NVIDIA's GPUs have revolutionized
the field of AI and deep learning due to
their parallel processing capabilities. The
company introduced CUDA, a parallel
computing platform, which allows
developers to harness the immense
processing power of GPUs for a wide
range of computational tasks.
FINANCIAL NVIDIA has experienced remarkable revenue growth over the
years, primarily driven by GPU sales, data center expansion, and strong

adoption of AI technologies. NVIDIA’s financial data includes
impressive revenue figures, healthy profit margins, and significant
investments in research and
development to fuel ongoing innovation.
