I. AUTHORITY:
1. Standard Operating Procedures of this Police Unit with reference to incident
recorded in Patrol Section Incident Logbook, Entry No. 2026-041, dated March 15, 2026.
II. DETAIL:
2. Upon receipt of the report of the Chief of the Patrol Section, the herein
investigator was dispatched by the duty Desk Officer, PCpl Mark A. Reyes, to conduct
investigation on the alleged theft incident reported by Ms. Anna L. Gomez at Barangay
Lahug, Cebu City.
3. At the scene, the undersigned investigator observed that the main door of the
victim’s residence showed signs of forced entry. Personal belongings including a laptop
and cash amounting to ₱15,000.00 were reported missing.
4. Other details of the incident were gathered through interview with the victim
and nearby witnesses, who stated that an unidentified male individual was seen loitering
in the area prior to the incident.
III. RECOMMENDATION:
5. It is respectfully recommended that follow-up investigation be conducted to
identify and apprehend the suspect, and that coordination with nearby CCTV operators be
made for possible footage review.
