Various kinds of animals are employed to satisfy human requirements such as food,
transportation, and study. Many individuals argue against it, believing that animals
should have the same rights as humans and should not be exploited; others say that it
is necessary to utilize animals for our pleasure. This article explains all sides, however
I definitely agree with the party that thinks animals should be treated with care.
In recent years, there has been an upsurge in the number of individuals speaking out
against animal cruelty, believing that just because humans are the most
knowledgeable and evolved species does not give them the right to abuse those below
them.

Various species of animals are used to satisfy human needs such as food,
transportation, and research. Many people argue against it and believe that animals
should have equal rights as humans, and should not be exploited; while others
advocate that it is important to use animals for our desire. This essay discusses both
viewpoints, however, I strongly concur with the group that believes animals should be
treated with kindness.

In recent times, there has been an increase in the number of people raising their voices
against animal cruelty as they believe that just because humans are the most
intelligent and advanced beings, it does not give them the right to exploit the ones
below them. Moreover, due to our selfish decisions, many species of the animal
kingdom are already extinct, and many are endangered. For example, passenger
pigeons, which were very common in the past, were easy to trap and served as a
cheaper food alternative, therefore, people exploited them so much that they have now
become extinct. Hence, I believe that if we continue to harm and kill animals to cater
to our requirements, we will end up destroying the entire ecosystem.

Nevertheless, there are many people who believe that animals should be used to
satisfy human needs such as providing necessary nutrition, and for research purposes.
Monkeys have been used for medicinal research for decades. Most of the medicines,
before reaching the human trial stage have to pass animal testing, this method allows
to protect humans from potential adverse effects. However, in my opinion, the same
nutrients can be obtained from animal resources, and furthermore, the technology has
become so advanced that we can test these medicines using alternative methods,
which do not involve harming other species.

In conclusion, using animals in our day-to-day lives remains a contentious topic,

however, I wholeheartedly believe that we should treat them kindly. Moreover, it is
prudent to take steps to protect them instead of harming them, to preserve the balance
of the ecosystem.

3. Some people think that the best way to reduce crime is to give longer prison
sentences.

Human development is a complex interplay of many elements. Nowadays, the Internet

reaches to all corner of a country for education and information. However, students need to
go to school for education, schools not only provide information but also convey social and
behaviour aspects of life .In the following paragraphs , I intend to put forth my arguments
to support my view.

Many young people work on a volunteer basis, and this can only be beneficial
for both the individual and society as a whole. However, I do not agree that
we should therefore force all teenagers to do unpaid work.

Many modern children spend a great deal of time sitting in front of a

television or computer screen. This is extremely harmful to their
development. Therefore, parents should strictly limit the time that
children spend in this way. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

First of all, the most conspicuous reason is the effect of blue rays from screen to eyes.
Children usually love spending time on watching animations and playing video games
which result in weak eyesight. As a result, they have to wear thick glasses at the early
life. Moreover, it also has the negative impacts on health such as weight gain, strain,
headache and backache. For instance, some children sit in front of screens all day and do
not go outside for leisure activities which leads to stress and inactive.

Crime rates are likely increasing in the modern society. Many others believe that the
best approach to address this issue is imposing longer prison sentences, while other
people argue that there are more effective solutions to lessen crimes. I find myself
agreeing more with those who applying alternative solutions rather than extending
longer sentences.

Many people believe that reducing crime rate can only be conducted by imposing
harsh sentences. Particularly, long prison sentences can conduct as a deterrent,
especially in dealing with a zero “tolerance” policy. However, the zero tolerance
policy put lawyers in a difficult situation to negotiate for reducing prison sentences.
However , I do not believe that this is the optimal solution.
