An automatic sprinkler fire protection system is an active fire protection method of
fighting fire with water. This method consists of a water supply system that provides
sufficient pressure and flow rate of water via a system of pipes to the installed spray
sprinklers.
A fire sprinkler system is cost effective, reliable and simple to operate and maintain.
The main components of the system are the sprinklers, sprinkler monitoring
equipment, flow meter and ac automatic alarm check valve.
The sprinklers are an automatic system of fire control, which are activated because
of an increase in temperatureproduced by a fire. Temperature and color range of
sprinkler bulb:Red: 68ºC, Yellow: 79ºC, Green: 93ºC, Blue: 141ºC, Black: 260ºC

The main components of a fire hydrant system are fire hoses , Hose reel ,
fire hydrants valves, and breechings [Link] system can either be a dry riser
system or a wet riser [Link] system can either be a dry risersystem or a wet
riser system . In a dry riser system, the water needed to fight a fire in an
emergency is charged by the fire brigade . The breeching inlets are usually
housed in cabinets installed in each floor of a building.
The wet riser holds pressurized water which is connected to the water mains
and the water is kept in check by means of valves . The breeching inlets for this
system are also housed in inlet cabinets that indicate the type of riser system in
use.
A fire hose reel is designed to carry and manage a heavy, high pressure fire hose,
keeping it ready and in good condition as a conduit for water in case a fire
occurs, the circular reel drum also makes it easy to reel out the fire hose for use in
a fire and to reel it in for storage.
