Important Guidelines
Grade – III to V (Session- 2026-27)

Dear parents,
Greetings on the beginning of the new session!
“A new school year means new beginnings, new adventures, new
friendships and new challenges!”
We at B.C.S believe that your ward will have an enlightening and fun filled experience, with
the love and care of our passionate and caring team. So, let’s motivate the child to spread
their wings and start up their journey to fly high where sky should be limit to explore. We
welcome them with warmth and affection. By working together as parents and educators,
we can build a foundation and inculcate life-long learning. To make this academic year a
boon, let’s have a look at the given guidelines for effective working of our young ones in the
Academic Session 2026-27.
1. Arrival and Dispersal: “Punctuality is the first step towards success.”
➢ School timings will be from 7:50 am to 1:50 pm
➢ All the students must come on time. Late comers will not be allowed to enter
the school.
➢ In case of any person other than parents coming for pick up of child, prior
information of the same should be given to the class teacher or at reception
for security purpose.
2. Code of conduct: “Conduct is the best proof of character.”
➢ Students will come in proper school uniform (Check uniform) and ID card on
every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. House T-shirt to be worn on
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
➢ No valuable articles/ ornaments (Kada, watches, rings, chains etc) are allowed.
School won’t be responsible for any of the loss.
➢ Hair and nails to be cut on regular basis. Girls with long hair must make two
plaits. White hair band is a must.
3. Books and Assignments: “Books are a uniquely portable magic.”
➢ All the books and notebooks should be labelled and covered with plastic sheets.
Kindly send the books as per the time table to avoid heavy bags.
➢ Varied home assignments will be provided. Make sure the child does it
independently with your guidance. Avoid doing your child’s work to make him/her
self-dependent.
➢ Every child should make an assignment folder to keep the records of all
assignment given in the session.
➢ For better learning, extra practice sheets will be uploaded on school website (ERP)
[Link] and the same can be downloaded.
4. School Almanac: “The bridge between school and the parents.”
➢ Fill the profile page Pg 1, Medical page Pg 2, and Pg nos. – 14, 15, 16, 17, and Time
Table on Pg- 35 of the Almanac with the required information and paste
photographs. Kindly refer the almanac for assessment schedule/holidays etc.
➢ Send the Almanac daily to the school and make sure you acknowledge the
Homework or any Important note given on daily basis.
➢ Any change in the address and phone number should be intimated immediately to
the respective Class Teacher.
➢ Follow the fee payment guidelines mentioned in the almanac to avoid any
inconvenience.
5. Attendance: “Regularity is better than hard work at once.”
➢ Minimum attendance for promotion to next grade is 75%.
➢ Make sure your ward does not remain absent during assessment days as no retest
will be taken.
➢ In case of leave on account of illness, medical certificate should be submitted
along with application.
➢ Parents are advised not to send the child to school in case of any contagious or
infectious diseases.
➢ No short leave and half days will be entertained until it’s an emergency.
6. School Transport: “Transportation is as reliable as drinking water.”
➢ You are expected to reach bus stop on time. Kindly don’t expect the bus driver to
wait on the stop.
➢ Do not argue with the teachers/conductors/driver present in the bus. In case of
any problem, a written complaint should be submitted to the Principal.
➢ In case your ward uses private van, please ensure that the driver and conductor
are licensed, the vehicle is well-maintained and registered
with the RTO.
7. PTM/Meetings: “Child + Parent + Teacher = Success”
➢ Parents are expected to attend the PTM as per the time slot given by the teacher.
➢ Teachers will only be available for discussions during school hours. You can meet
them between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
➢ Meeting with the Principal is with prior appointment only.
➢ Meeting with the Academic head can be done on any day between 2:00
pm to 3:00 pm with prior appointment only.
8. Nurturing The Child: “If we nurture the dreams of children , the world will be
blessed.”
➢ Kindly acknowledge the messages sent by teacher and coordinate with the
teacher for your ward’s progress.
➢ Encourage his/ her participation in all the activities.
➢ Ensure your child sleeps timely.
➢ Decrease your child’s screen time.
➢ 100% participation is must in all the activities to enhance the holistic development
of the child.
➢ Do carry parent’s ID card whenever you visit school.
9. ERP: “Interactivity is the greatest benefit offered by
internet.”
➢ The school has an online portal – ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) for the
benefit of the students and parents. A unique login ID/ password will be
provided. Through this portal, the parents can access circulars, handouts, home
works and important messages which are posted by the teachers/school
administration.
➢ Any change in the schedule or any urgent information will be informed to the
parents through SMS.
➢ ERP file to be maintained by parent and to be brought to school during PTM.

10. For the safety and security of the students, please ensure that if any person, other
than the parents, is visiting school his/her name and identity/relationship has to be made
clear and given in writing at the reception.
11. Parents/Guardians are requested to read and explain the school rules to their
wards.

Guidelines for books and Notebooks
Grade: III To V
Session: 2026-27
Dear Parents, Kindly go through the below mentioned instructions:
1. Paste a slip labelled with name and class on every book and notebook.
2. The notebooks should be covered with fluorescent coloured sheet in the
following manner:
Science Maths- English-
(Interleaf)- Red
Pink
Green
Hindi- SST
(Interleaf)
Violet
-Blue
3. Mention the following details on the Second page of your notebook
neatly.
• Name of the child
• Class/Section
• Name of the Class Teacher
• Subject
• Subject Teacher’s Name
• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Contact no
Kindly Note:
❖ Maths Geometry Notebook (For Grade IV & V) should be covered with white coloured
sheet.
❖ G.K/Life skill notebook should be covered with yellow coloured sheet.
❖ Computer notebook should be covered with orange coloured sheet.
