Networking Question

The demand for my professions as a software engineer and software developer eventually led me
to start making development and management networks. I have carefully cultivated different
social networks from university and work. My networking experience has helped me develop
personal connections that have helped to foster my development as an authentic leader. For
example, my participation in many web development projects during my university time was
pivotal in developing my networking skills, connecting me to junior and senior web developers
that later helped me to start my project development after I developed a school management
system. I got internships at Ariana Afghan Airlines, where I got so much experience in real-time
project development. I have worked there as an intern for two months, and that has helped to
develop teamwork and connections with senior software developers.

After a web development course at Softbazar web development company and an internship at
Ariana Afghan Airline company, I look forward to teaching my classmates, especially my female
classmates, that they don’t have access to study programming and software development in
Kabul because they were living in Nangarhar Province. This not only allowed me to strengthen
my understanding of the subject but also helped me empower others, supporting a collaborative
learning environment. Additionally, I led two software development projects with my
classmates, where I administered as the team leader and perfected my leadership and networking
skills.

One of my successful ventures into the world of networking and communications began when I
was blessed with the opportunity to become a database manager at the Hazrat-e-Nabawi Private
High School. I managed to use my leadership and networking skills to lead the database
management team, introducing Agile methodologies to them, analyzing system performance, and
improving data security and efficiency. I trained staff on database usage, improving database
system adaptation across all departments. These opportunities have been an eye-opener, showing
me clearly the correlation between networking and leadership advancement, which is quite
challenging for me.

In my hometown, I have a good relationship with the local people and the local government. My
family had already built a network among them, and we have a good reputation in my
hometown.

To sum up, I will be more than glad to participate in any kind of event in collaboration with other
Chevening Alumni, as it will be a great opportunity for me to expand my network and bring a
good impact to both Afghanistan and the UK through discussions of global technology issues.
