Presentation is when you share info or ideas with an audience, often using visuals like slides
FEATURES
Title Bar: The title bar displays the name of the current presentation and allows you to
minimize, maximize, or close the PowerPoint window.
• Ribbon: The Ribbon is the main toolbar that contains various tabs, such as Home, Insert,
Design, Transitions, Animations, etc., with each tab containing related groups of tools that allow
you to perform various tasks in PowerPoint.
• Quick Access Toolbar: The Quick Access Toolbar provides quick access to frequently used
commands, such as Save, Undo, and Redo.
• Slides Pane: The Slides pane displays all the slides in the current presentation, and allows you
to add, delete, and rearrange slides as needed.
• Notes Pane: The Notes pane allows you to add speaker notes that only you can see during a
presentation.
• Slide Area: The Slide Area is the main working area where you can create and edit your slides.
• Status Bar: The Status Bar displays information about the current slide, such as the slide
number and the view that you are currently using

HOW TO INSERT PICTURES,SCREENSHOT AND PHOTO ALBUM
Pictures: this allows you to add pictures from your computer, stock image library or
from online source.
• Screenshot: allows you to add a snapshot of any window that’s open on the desktop
to your document.
• Photo Album: It allows you to create a beautiful presentation for your favorite photo
collection.
PICTURES / SCREENSHOT / PHOTO ALBUMS
1. Click on the insert tab
2. Click on pictures
3. Navigate to the picture you want to use and select it
4. Click insert
MODIFY PICTURES
Select a picture
Click and drag a resize handle to change its size
Click and drag the picture to move it
HOW TO DELETE PICTURES
Select the picture
Press delete key on the keyboard

Click the draw tab
Click the draw with a Touch button
Draw a shape using the mouse or touch screen
ERASE A DRAWING
Click the eraser button
Click a drawing
Click and hold on the eraser to erase the error part
SHAPE
Click on the insert
Click shapes
Select the shape you want to insert
Click and drag to where you want to place the shape
SHAPE FILL
1. Select the shape.
2. Use the tools in the Shape Styles group to modify the shape style.
Shape Fill: Adjust the colour, picture, gradient, or texture inside
the shape.
• Shape Outline: Adjust the colour and weight of the shape's
border.
Shape Effects: Add or remove more complicated effects like glow and bevel
Option Description
Theme Colors Let you select a fill colour from the colours in
the current theme.
Standard Colors Let you select a fill colour from one of the 10
standard colours.
No Fill Removes the fill colour.
More Fill Colors Let you select a fill colour from one of the
thousands of colours in the Colors dialogue box.
Eyedropper Grabs a colour from anywhere on the screen
and applies it to the current shape.
Picture Fills the shape with a graphic you have on file.
Gradient Fills the shape with a gradient that gradually
changes from one colour to another.
Texture Fills the shape with a texture.
SMARTART
Click the insert tab
Click the smartart button
Select a category
Select a graphic
Click ok
SmartArt Graphic Types
List Shows non-sequential information.
Process Show steps in a process or timeline.
Cycle Shows a continual process.
Hierarchy Creates an organization chart or decision tree.
Relationship Illustrate connections.
Matrix Shows how parts relate to a whole.
Pyramid Shows proportional relationships with the largest
component on the top or bottom.
Picture Creates a SmartArt graphic that incorporates pictures.
POPULATE SMARTART GRAPHICS
Select the SmartArt Diagram.
Click the arrow at the left edge of the SmartArt graphic.
Type text for each bullet in the Text pane.
Click the Text pane's Close button or click outside the SmartArt diagram.
Select any unused shapes in the graphic.
Press the Backspace or Delete key to remove them from the graphic.
