The illustration demonstrates the linear process of producing cherry jam.
Overall,there are nine main
step in the sequence, starting with harvesting cherries, followed by cherries are transformed into jam, and
ending with the jars of cherries jam are used by customers.
The first six steps involve the transformation of the fruit. The first, a sheet spread on the earth and the
tree is shaken to get the cherries. After this, the cherries are collected and are transported to the
processing plant. The next stage, the leaves and stems are removed and the cherries are washed. Then, the
stone is taken out of the middle of the cherries. Subsequently, the cherries are cooked and extra
ingredients are added, ready for the next stage.
The remaining steps produce a cherries jam. The quality of the jam undergoes checking. In the following
step, the jam is put into jars and a label is stuck on the jars.
