II. General Description of RF7800MP

Equipment Description:
 Operates from 1.5 MHz to 59.9999 MHz using USB, LSB, CW, AME
with selectable low (1.0 watt), medium (5.0 watts), and high (20.0
watts) output power.
 Also operates from 1.5 MHz to 59.9999 MHz in FM at 10.0 watts high
output power.

• Digital security based on optional Harris Citadel or Advance
Encryption Standard (AES).
• Last Ditch Voice (LDV) (in 3G only) allows the radio to deliver
digital voice under very poor conditions. This message is
recorded by the receiving radio and each hold one LDV
message recorded in its memory.
• MIL-STD-188-141B Automatic Link Establishment (ALE).
• STANAG 4538 Fast Link Setup (SLSU).
• Enhanced Electronic Counter Counter Measure (ECCM)-
frequency hopping in HF (narrow band, wideband, and list).
• Analog Voice Security (AVS) operation.
• Adaptive Wideband-Up to 24khz bandwidth and 120 kbps data
operation in 3G Mode.
• Provides accurate Time-of –Day (TOD) and geographic
location information through the optional built-in Global
Positioning System (GPS).
