Speaker 1 – Opening
Assalamu Alaikum and a very good morning to everyone.
We shall begin today’s assembly with the national anthem, followed by the school
song. I kindly request everyone to stand in respect.

Thank you everyone.
A very warm welcome to our Eid assembly.
Today, we gather to celebrate and remember Eid, a festival that brings joy,
gratitude, and unity to Muslims around the world. It is a time to thank Allah for
His blessings, strengthen our faith, and share happiness with others.
Speaker 2 – Meaning of Eid
Eid is one of the most important celebrations in Islam. There are two main Eids:
Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha.
Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, patience, and self-
discipline. It teaches us empathy for those in need and reminds us to be grateful.
Eid-ul-Adha, on the other hand, honors sacrifice, obedience, and devotion.
Both Eids remind us of kindness, generosity, and faith.
Speaker 3 – Importance of Ramadan
During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. But fasting is not just about
food—it is also about controlling our thoughts, actions, and behavior.
It is a time for prayer, reflection, and helping others. By the end of Ramadan, we
become more patient, humble, and spiritually stronger.
Eid is the reward for this effort.
Speaker 4 – Traditions and Celebrations
Eid is celebrated with great joy and excitement.
People wear new clothes, offer special Eid prayers, and spend time with family and
friends. Delicious food is prepared and shared.
An important part of Eid is giving to charity, especially Zakat and Sadaqah,
ensuring that everyone can enjoy the celebration.
Speaker 5 – Message of Unity and Kindness
Eid teaches us to forgive, to spread love, and to care for others.
It reminds us that no matter our differences, we are all part of one community. On
this special day, we should reach out to those in need and make sure no one feels
alone.
Let us carry this message of kindness not only on Eid but every day.
