Teachers’ Perceptions of Artificial Intelligence in Second Language Learning

Thank you for agreeing to take part in this interview. This research forms part of an MA
Education dissertation at the University of Hull. The purpose of the study is to explore
teachers’ perspectives on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in second language
learning, including perceived benefits, potential challenges, and the kinds of
institutional support that may be needed to ensure its ethical and effective use.

Your participation is voluntary, and you may choose not to answer any question or stop
the interview at any time. With your permission, the interview will be audio recorded for
transcription purposes. All responses will be anonymised, and neither participants nor
the school will be identified in the final dissertation.

The interview should take approximately 20–30 minutes.
