also known as the Child Protection Policy. This policy is in place to make sure that

and violence. This means these acts are not allowed in school under any
circumstance.”

“A learner refers to any child enrolled in school. This includes all students who are
under the care of the school.”
Slide 9: Prohibited Acts
“There are actions that are strictly not allowed in school, such as hurting a child
physically, embarrassing them, shouting at them abusively, or treating them
unfairly.”

“Child abuse includes physical harm, emotional harm, neglect, or failure to give
proper care to a child. Even words can hurt a child emotionally.”

“Discrimination happens when a child is treated unfairly because of religion, gender,
health condition, or family background. Every child deserves equal treatment.”

“Bullying is repeated behavior that hurts or humiliates another child. This can be
physical, verbal, or even online. Bullying is not tolerated in school.”

“Physical punishment such as hitting, pinching, or forcing painful positions is not
allowed. Discipline should guide children, not hurt them.”

“Any action that causes physical, emotional, or psychological harm to a child is
considered violence and is prohibited.”

“To prevent abuse, the school promotes positive discipline, guidance counseling,
values education, and close supervision of learners.”

“Our school has a Child Protection Committee. This group ensures that any concern
involving child safety is properly handled.”

makes sure the child is safe.”
