Your sister has been in the hospital for a week.
During this time, you have noticed
the meals they are providing for her are very poor quality.
Write an email to the hospital manager and include the following things:
• Tell him/her what you have seen in the past week.
• Complain about the food quality.
• Offer a suggestion on how things could improve.
Subject: Complain about poor quality food served to patients.
Dear Hospital Manager,
I am writing to raise a concern regarding the food being served to patients in your hospital.
My sister has been admitted for the past week, and during this time I have observed that
the meals provided are of poor quality. The food is often too spicy and oily, which is not
suitable for patients who are recovering. In addition, there are no nutritious options such
as hot soup or fresh fruits. I have also noticed that plastic plates are being used, which
may not be safe or hygienic.
Patients come to the hospital to improve their health, and when they are discharged, they
should be healthier. However, the current food quality being served is unacceptable and
may negatively affect their recovery. It also appears that proper food inspection is not
being conducted before serving meals to patients.
I kindly request you to treat this matter as a priority and ensure that food quality is
checked before being served. Proper nutrition is very important during recovery. I would
also suggest collecting feedback from patients and their caretaker to improve the overall
experience.
Thank you for your attention.
Regards,
Soujanya
Dear Mr. Suman,
I appreciate your effort in considering tenants’ suggestions for the upcoming renovations.
In my opinion, installing a new elevator should be the top priority.
Firstly, nearly 90% of the residents depend on the elevator for their daily movement.
However, we frequently experience elevator malfunctions, which cause inconvenience to
tenants, especially those living on the 2nd to 5th floors. In such situations, residents are
forced to use the stairs, which is particularly challenging for elderly people, children, and
those with health issues.
Secondly, this issue has been raised several times in the past, but the problem continues.
Frequent breakdowns not only cause inconvenience but also lead to additional
maintenance costs, which are an extra financial burden on tenants.
Finally, replacing the old elevator with a new and reliable one will significantly improve
safety, convenience, and overall living conditions in the building. It will also reduce long-
term maintenance expenses.
Thank you for considering my suggestion. I hope this concern will be addressed at the
earliest.
