The map below describes changes to a park in 1980 and now.

The maps illustrate the developments that took place in a public park from the 1980 to the present time,
highlighting modifications to its layout, facilities and recreational areas.

Overall it can be clearly seen that the park has been significantly modernized, while some natural
features such as trees and ponds have been retained, at the same time, certain flower areas have been
replaced with bushes.

In 1980, the park had relatively simple design. It was accessible through two gates, located at south and
west, and it contained a pond surrounded by small number of benches near west gate, a large flower
garden occupied the bottom left corner, similarly a flower section was built-in south-east corner. In
addition, a triangular area, in north east corner was reserved exclusively for trees.

At present, although the pond stays at the same position, it is now surrounded by a large number of
trees. The flower garden in lower left corner has been transformed into bushes. Where else, flowers in
lower right corner has been demolished. Moreover, the right side of the park has undergone major
redesign, a children playground has been constructed in the south east corner, and a picnic area
equipped with chairs, table and a barbeque section has been installed in the north east corner of the
park.

garden have been replaced with tennis and basket court respectively.
