Beginning Show a piece of papers and ask -YouTube
(5 mins) -“Is this a whole? “ -fraction game
Show the papers in two
-Is it the same? If it’s different, it’s not half. “
#Emphasize that it must be equal.

Middle Divided a circle of paper into two equal parts


(30 mins) say
#Two equal parts =half -Paper
Have them repeat “each part in one half” -rulers
Give students a circle of paper -scissor
Have them divided the half themselves. -Picture
Divided the paper into four equal parts say (Pizza, apples)
#four equal part =quarter -crayon
Explain with Apple and Pizza
Let them color the quarter
( ¼ of it is one color)
