AAM KI TOKRI (THE MANGO BASKET)

Plot and game sequence (proposed)

ROUND 1 (40 Minutes)
The game begins with the first round, where the Crime Branch comes across a sensational case.

Near a criminal court, a female body is found inside a mango basket. The body had been mutilated by
removal of hands, foot, and even head (identification features).

During the post-mortem, an orthopedic implant serial number is recovered, which leads to the identification
of the victim:

Advocate Naina Verma

31-year-old practicing lawyer.

All 4 suspects will bring 4 unique theories. They are inspired by real crimes, so subconsciously there will be
an emotional override in players based on their thinking. Round 1 is designed to exhaust players in defective
investigation.

Suspect 1: Imran Sheikh

 45 years old
 Ex-MLA
 Lost his seat and sentenced to 10 years due to Advocate Naina’s case against him
 Former convict

Motive:
Revenge — He lost his influence and future political career (his own and future generations).

Notes:

 Witness testimony states that after the trial, the MLA threatened Advocate Naina for ruining him.
 She was paid handsomely for this case by the parties.
 She was also over-ambitious.

Suspect 2: Advocate Ramesh Kulkarni

 49 years old
 Senior Advocate
 Name finalized for empanelment as District Judge
 Exposed for corruption and malpractice
 License suspended by Bar Association

Motive:
Revenge & betrayal by his junior — ruining his hard-earned reputation and rise to power and influence in
judiciary.

Notes:

 Mail exchange with a friend where Advocate Naina shared concerns that Ramesh Kulkarni will come
after her as he has nothing to lose now.
 She reported him — possibly to gain favours or support in the Bar Association for herself?

Suspect 3: Arjun Mehta

 31 years old
 Live-in partner
 History of domestic violence

Motive:
Money for paying debts, addiction, or narcissistic rage.

Notes:

 WhatsApp exchange where he “[dared her to cross a line and see what comes after.]”
 Past police interventions due to neighbour complaints (domestic violence, alcohol, betting).
 Naina was living with her friend for the past 2 days following a fight.
 She was ignoring Arjun’s calls and texts.

Suspect 4: Narendra Singh

 34 years old
 Migrant auto driver
 Seen fleeing from the crime scene last night
 Suspicious unexplained transactions
 Former convict

Motive:
Crime for money or predator?

Notes:

 Often seen near Women’s College (suspected predatory behaviour).

 Formerly in heavy debt but now doing well.
 Bought 2 autos (previously rented one) within merely 6 months.
 Unexplained recovery of ₹7.53 lakh cash from residence.
 Possible link to kidnapping, ransom, or extortion.

After 30 minutes, a different VIP case will be introduced based on priority:

Missing Case:

 Dy. CM’s daughter

 Wildlife photographer
 Missing for 15 days
 Did not return after 10 days of stay at forest park
 Main clue in victim profile: pattern of tattoo

Lost Letter (Found in Basket)

“Jab hum kuch nahi kiya tha, tab tum hame jail me sadya, ab dekho hum kya kya karte hai, aur dum hai to
rok ke bata.”

At the end of the letter:

“Tum sab ka jija aur kalakaar.”
Note:

 “Jija” refers to jail being “sasural” (formal convict reference).

 “Kalakaar” (artist).
